Marvin watches can trace their history back as far as 1850 and the Marvin name has been on the books at the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property in Berne, Switzerland since 1893. Marvin has an interesting and notable history which eventually saw the brand joining the MSR group (Manufactures d’Horlogeries Suisses Réunies) in the 70′s before essentially disappearing altogether. Fast forward to 2002 and the Marvin name was relaunched after being purchased from MSR by Jean-Daniel Maye and his wife Cecile.

Thanks to Victor M. of Raleigh, North Carolina for this thorough follow-up review of a Marvin Malton Cushion watch he was the lucky winner of during the September 2012 aBlogtoRead.com monthly watch giveaway.
Congratulations to Victor M. from Raleigh, North Carolina who was the lucky random winner of the Marvin Malton Cushion M119 watch giveaway from September 2012 here on aBlogtoRead.com.
You have less than two days to enter for a chance to win your choice of Marvin Malton Cushion M119 watch here.
Cushion watches are named as such because the shape of the case is supposed to look like a couch cushion. No one’s had a better idea since they started calling them that. It is a good looking shape and done well in the Marvin Malton Cushion series.
What do you get when Marvin wants to mix a little Rolex love into their watches? Precisely this watch you see before you. Marvin was inspired by two classic Rolex themes in this Malton Cushion Chronograph, and I think the execution is rather well done. I’d wear these in a heartbeat even though the crown […]
Very rarely do I get to review a watch that is actually a remake of another watch the brand made just a few years earlier – that I also reviewed…
Marvin watches has released two new versions of their Sebastian Loeb collaboration watches with these two new pieces, one being a limited edition. Not just mere color changes, these have different, more refined dials and a great sporty look. These are the best looking Marvin Loeb Rally Collection watches yet in my opinion. I wrote […]
Marvin is one of the most interesting brands out there that common people can afford. This is in large part due to the brand’s leadership – a spunky and creative woman named Cecile Maye…
I wrote about the limited edition Marvin Malton 160 Toujours Plus watch recently that was made as a set of 8 pieces for the website Cool Hunting. The last of the 8 pieces is being auctioned off right now on eBay with a starting price of $1,250. The proceeds of the sale will go to […]
Apparently CoolHunting.com is on a “limited edition kick,” and will offer a few such items. One of them is going to be this highly limited Marvin Malton 160 Cushion “Toujours Plus” watch that will only have 8 pieces. The watches will be available for sale (via CoolHunting I believe), but one of them will be […]
The wait is over and the Sebastian Loeb watch by Marvin is here. Loeb is a World Rally Champion race driver. I saw some concept art for the watch early on, and now the final piece has been released (actually there will be two models). Following a tradition of many race themed timepieces, the Loeb […]
Taken in a dark room under less than ideal circumstances, these are images of the Marvin Malton 160 Cushion collection watches. At least one of them (the black dialed chronograph automatic) should be out now. Some of these other watches will come later, and a few might not come out at all. One that I […]

I am very excited to bring you a special watch giveaway here at aBlogtoRead.com. This month you can enter to win your choice of either of the above two mechanical chronograph watches from Swiss Marvin watches.
