Fashion Watch: Guest Editor On Lifestyle Mirror watch style

Last week I had the privilege of acting as the guest editor on the popular fashion website Lifestyle Mirror. It was an interesting experience, and proved useful to communicate to a non-watch cultured audience. Doing so always helps keep me grounded because it is easy to forget that we use a lot of terms on aBlogtoWatch that many people aren't familiar with. I helped the Lifestyle Mirror readers decide how much to spend on a watch, how to choose a watch for the right occasion, what watches are cool right now, and of course a bit about myself. They did a nice job, and I would particularly like to thank the friendly and talented Taylor Davies who helped put "Arielisms" into Lifestyle Mirror speak.

Here are the first posts from my guest editor week at Lifestyle Mirror:

I do hope you were well compensated for this.

I think that the best and most important thing I have learned about watches appeared right here on this blog, when AA wrote,

" So what I mean by brand pedigree is to look for...... a brand with a special story or interesting founder that themselves engages in most of the watch making and design process."

Thank you, Mr Adams. The watches I love best were chosen on that basis.

You did a fine job; I actually found myself agreeing with most of what you wrote.  So there I was, listening to the BBC World Service as I often do when I heard a familiar voice, and unlike the podcasts, in crystal clarity.  It was none other than John Biggs, talking about robots.  I was freaked out - he was in my house!
