GIVEAWAY: Azimuth Bombardier VI Vintage Style Mechanical Aviator Watch watch giveaways

We are very excited to offer one of the limited edition Azimuth Bombardier watches to the lucky winner of this month's aBlogtoWatch Giveaway. Azimuth was started in Singapore and produces Swiss made watches of a "unique variety." They also make some more straightforward and appealing military homage watches such as the Bombardier collection - which is a refreshing contrast to the more wild Mr. Roboto and SP-1 Landship type watches.

At 47mm wide, the steel-cased Bombardier VI is the sixth iteration in the brand's enjoyable aviator watch series. The VI is a decidedly vintage-themed piece with a deep brown dial and aged looking lume. With an almost sterile dial, the Azimuth logo can only be seen in the right light. A destro-style lefty crown is ergonomic given the large size and inside the watch is a restored vintage Fontainemelon ST96-4 manually wound mechanical movement. Attached to the watch is a riveted buffalo leather strap. We have a video for you as well to check out the watch. Azimuth only produced 200 pieces of the Bombardier VI timepiece and it is priced at about $2,100. Enter below for your chance to win.

I've already purchased 6 watches within the past year and some are like this watch - simple, symmetrical, and doesn't stand out much.

I like the simple understated look of this watch. In the last year I purchased 2 watches.

This is a beautiful, simple watch that will be easy to tell time with.  It is not ostentatious.  I bought 2 other pilot style watches this year.

A classic design, and one that would go well with my other collection of watches. Azimuth has some very creatively designed watches as well.

Azimuth is manufacturing here a "Forever Classic". Since I mainly collect military watches, this one would represent a pearl in my collection. I discovered Azimuth designing very original models like the Chrono Gauge or the Landship. This year I was not really lucky with money incomes but I bought a Glycine combat chronograph and a Tutima F3 chronograph both used but in great shape.

Very classic design. I really like the crown a bit smaller  like this one and being a lefty really makes it practical for me.

I would love to win this watch, it looks beautiful.  I didn't buy any watches last year, but my wife gave me a Suunto watch to help me keep track of my work out progress.

What a smart looking pilots' watch! This year, so far, I have purchased only one watch.  But another one is on the horizon.  So, at least two watches for 2013.

My watch purchases hae embarrassingly gone into double fugures this year. My most recent was a 1970's Omega Speedmaster Mk lll, and my favorite is my Omeda Seamaster Planet Ocean. I really like the clean look of the Azimuth and would love to add it to my collection.

I bought 3 watches within a year and this one is on my list! Every watch collector NEEDS a pilot and the Azimuth is a solid choice!

I bought 3 watches last year, 1 this year until now. - I'm looking for a new aviator style watch since my Poljot Aviator has a defective case. The movement still works, it's an ETA (and will of course never break :-)

So the Bombardier would be a fine replacement.

Bought one watch this May. Don't have any pilot watches so this one would be nice.

Purchased two watches this year - one trade-in, trade-up and a whimsical Citizen bullhead in tragic 70s colors. Could use a pilot watch sp my fingers are crossed.

In the last 12 months, I have bought 7 watches. I am mostly doing the forum and limited issues rather than the big name brands.

proto99

I have purchased three watches this year. They were not big ticket items and tend more toward fashion. I find the use of a vintage movement in the Azimuth very interesting.
