Giveaway: Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT Watch watch giveaways

I am pretty jealous of who ever will be the winner of this month's giveaway. I have here a Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT watch for your winning pleasure. The C60 Trident was released in late 2010 and came in a range of flavors. The inspiration behind the C60 Trident collection is the widely beloved (and also British) Bremont Supermarine 500. Not everyone can afford a Supermarine, so the C60 Trident is your next best bet. Christopher Ward also offers the C60 Trident in GMT form, and that is what you can win here.

This watch is interesting because it borrows from both the Bremont Supermarine and the famous Rolex GMT Master Pan Am - nick-named the Rolex GMT "Pepsi dial." This Ref. C60-GMT-SRBK watch is in steel and 42mm wide (water resistant to 300 meters). Inside the watch is a Swiss ETA 2893-2 automatic GMT movement. The watch has a rotating GMT bezel and comes on a leather strap. A fantastic looking timepiece and one of the best available from Christopher Ward at this time. The retail price for this Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT watch is $630. Learn more at Christopher Ward here. For a Chance to win, see below!

JLC Reverso is a high contender. Omega Planet Ocean or Breitling Transocean are others.

I wish that I could afford a Rolex GMT Master II watch.  I've always wanted one since I was in the U.S. Navy and saw one on my Chief's arm.  Unfortunately, I'm a disabled veteran living month to month and barely getting by now so I don't think that I'll ever be able to afford a watch like this.  I can only dream.

I'm a big fan of the the new C60 Trident Automatic - NATO Version of Christopher Ward!

I'm a big fan of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Navy Seals diver! Great watch, great quality

Purchased the C11 MSL MK1 from Christopher Ward. Outstanding quality for the price. But if price was no object would have to go with the IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chrono. A solid work of art - although 12-15K may not be a lot for a solid timepiece compared to others out there - but it has the functionality and prescence on a wrist to make a statement with quality movement and backed by a great company.

I've always admired Glashutte Original watches. The Sixties Square Tourbillon is very sharp... I would not refuse one.

I've been interested in Ball Watches for quite a while. I really like the idea of the luminous gas tubes. If I had my choice it would have to be the Engineer Master II Diver TMT.
I currently own a Christopher Ward C3 Malvern Chronograph. I would definately appreciate winning the C60 Trident.

If money were no object, my dream watch would be a classic Patek Phillipe time only white gold with bracelet or a Jaquet Droz Grand Seconde Cerclee with Cream enamel or Aventurine dial in White gold, smoking hot watch!!

If it's not a vintage then it's be a AP Royal Oak Offshore

I love the originality and design of UrWerk watches. They capture the essence of "outside the box" thinking.

I like the clean looks of the new Ollech & Wajs Raffale Chronograph, nice squarish case. Not a super high-end watch, but currently out of my price range.

I dream of owning a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak or JLC Reverso Squadra Chrono, though I think this Christoher Ward c60 Trident is quite handsome and deserves to be part of anyone's collection

A week ago I watched a video of Urwerk UR-110.. I guess that struck me as a watch of the dreams.

Lange 1 Daymatic in Pink Gold or a JLC Master Calendar, those are the "reasonable" grails.

I think a Urwerk 202 would be a cool watch to have.

A Richard Mille would be one of several choices.

I’ve always had an eye for the Omega Seamaster 300 GMT. But the C60 Trident GMT looks absolutely amazing. Classic GMT bezel, beautiful hour markers, and bold shapely hands. It has the Omega beat in every respect.

If I don’t win the C60 contest, I’ll just have to go buy one for myself.

Nice work Christopher Ward.

Would love an Audermars Royal Oak Offshore....not which dial color but I just love the design!

Such a tough decision to come up with just one...but ever sine I picked up the "watch bug", the IWC Portugese has always been near the absolute top of my list...and virtually any of them would do, I am not picky! But I have to say that the CW trident is a very sharp looking watch and may well be on my buy list...unless I win one:-)

Sweet Watch. I have to be honest I never heard of this brand before. The Rolex GMT style is what cought my eye. The Rolex GMT was sort of the official watch of my family. My dad and brother both owned one. This is also the reason the Rolex GMT is my dream watch. There are more expensive ones out there but this model means something more to me. I would love to win the CW. I'll share it with my dad who had to sell his GMT long ago.

Hi Ariel,
This watch is nice, the fact that its internals packs a really nice ETA-2893 is a plus! The whole series of 2890s, 2892, 93, 94 and 97, are all quality movements, however, the 2893 with the GMT is my favorite.
If I were to select one watch I would like to own it would be the A.Lange $ Sohne tourbillon "Pour Le Me'rite" in rose gold. I'll keep dreamin.
Regards,
Stephen Delaney
P.S. Good luck to all.

I wish I could afford a Tag Heuer Monaco V4. It's not the most expensize watch out there but it has a beautiful distinctive design.

I'm always eyeing something to add to my collection...if I had the disposable income, I'd get an A. Lange & Sohne Grand Saxonia Automatik, and my teenager would have to wait a while longer to get a car.

Don't know if it counts as "high-end", but I love the Bremont MB's.

Jason Manternach

Given the pricing in the watch world these days, I'm not sure if this still qualifies as VERY high end, but the Lange 1 is a classic that I would love to own and pass along as a family heirloom.

CW C60 Trident is a great watch and for the whole package (what's in plus what's out) this price is a really good deal.
Now about the high-end. Well, I have some brands in my mind (Audemars Piguet royal oak offshore and Hublot), but since they are still not on my shopping list I am not going to focus on one or two models only (in other words the dreams are free ...). And of course one more very specific model - Zenith Christophe Colomb.
Thank you dream makers!

I would like a Hublot or an Urwerk. But dreams are mostly unatainable. This is a handsome watch that I would not hesitate to wear.

While a Rolex and Panerai are on my list, the grail watches for me would be an A. Lange & Sohne and a Patek Philippe. For now I am starting at the beginning with Seiko and Orient.

Hello,

The Malte Retrograde Perpetual Calendar by Vacheron Constantin is a beautiful watch - and at 39mm, not too big for a lady.

Cheers!

Hi and congrats on a great site!

One watch I like is the DaVinci Chrono by IWC. It's elegant with a soupçon of retro. Nice.
Best to all :)

If I could afford it, I would buy a vogard personal edition watch.

One timepiece that I consider particularly stunning is IWC's Portuguese Perpetual Calendar (Ref.5022). I'll never see it other than in aficionado literature and on the Web I'm quite sure. Should I be so fortunate to be awarded the CW, it would have a good home I can assure you. Best luck to all!

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident is a fine looking watch that I would love to own. If price were no object, I would desire the Zenith El Primero Tourbillon watch in steel.

I really like the Christoper Wards. I was looking at those but instead, for my first "real" watch, I chose a hamilton X-copter. Now I can't stop looking at watches everywhere! I think I'm getting hooked! But, I really like the new TAG Heuer Mikrograph. I think it's amazing that that they've got a watch that can do the 1/100 of a second on the chronograph.

Hello Ariel and ABTR community:

The Christopher Ward is as per this review one of those great surprises from the industry. It present a proven design and functional concept that for the user is attainable and distinguished. Functionally it does have one of my favorite features the GMT hand.

As for a luxury watch I can currently afford, it has to be A. Lange and Sohne, Lange 1 Daymatic. It says luxury and functionality in volumes. At $50,000 plus it is really exclusive and reachable only to few. I guess I’ll keep on working, maybe soon I’ll have one.

Regards to all,
Ismael
