IWC Big Pilot Limited Edition Perpetual Calendar Watch

IWC Big Pilot Limited Edition Perpetual Calendar Watch iwc

Big Pilot + Perpetual Calendar watch? Yes please! I personally think it is great. IWC did a good job with this orange and black beauty. But a limited edition only? Well, maybe we will see more of them in the future. Actually we have seen a lot of IWC watches in limited edition skin lately, and I won't complain when it is in Big Pilot form. Price isn't horrible given the movement at $28,000.

See my IWC Big Pilot Limited Edition Perpetual Calendar watch article at Haute Living here.

great article... i must say, IWC makes some of the most unique and beautifully hand-crafted watches i have ever seen... i truly love them. the best source i've found to find them for the best matched prices online, is a place i highly suggest, is www.GovbergWatches.com, which can be found here: http://www.govbergwatches.com/iwc_37b.asp ...check them out, if you're looking for a great place for selection at the the best valued prices online!

This is a luxury mark. Watches are only overpriced if they don't sell, and I bet IWC will sell most of these.

The truth about IWC...I think that their fleiger models capture the glimmer in all of our eyes...we all wanted to soar among the clouds as children and we can live out this childhood fantasy in fleiger timepieces. IWC makes a gorgeous piece with a bold and functional crown. However...IWC fleigers are OVERPRICED!!! Not to say that they're not functional or beautiful, but they're just too expensive. From an aviation standpoint...the dial of this watch is too busy to be "really" functional. The complications of this watch are meant for the enthusiast and connoisseur...but not the aviator. I think the Hamilton is a better be for when taking to the skies...aside from a GMT function this is just too much.
