I think Breil makes the most beautiful skeleton watches. As for a personal preference, it depends on the watch brand. Some watchmakers go way too overboard with the skeleton and takes away from the functionality of the watch itself. I don't know if just the back is exposed (like Oris) counts as skeleton, but that gives the watch owner the best of both worlds.
