I have officially expanded my watch writing horizons. You'll now find me writing both aBlogtoRead.com and on Luxist.com (a luxury items and lifestyle blog that is part of the Weblogs network). My position there is as the watch expert, and you'll find articles there on real estate, cars, art, fine living, and anything else part of a luxurious lifestyle. Part of this new opportunity is a dream come true as I've always admired the blogs that are part of the Weblogs network. Aside from Luxist.com, my favorites are Engadget.com, Joystiq.com, and Autoblog.com. You should check them all out.

While I am fortunate to be a writer on Luxist.com, all this blogging takes a significant amount of time, and it isn't my day job. Writing about watches all the time, has me thinking about watches all the time. So allow this image of stacked watches to serve as a metaphor of my resultant mental priorities; (almost) all watches, all the time. There is always that work, life, watches balance that we passionate few need to discover.

From hence forth I will be diverting my time between aBlogtoRead.com and Luxist.com. You won't find a reduction in content, you'll just have to look for it on both sites.  If you want to get just my articles on Luxist.com, an easy way is to visit this page, that lists my current posts only. To give you an idea of topical distribution, new product announcements along with fine watch lifestyle articles will be primarily reserved for Luxist.com. aBlogtoRead.com will be the place for in-depth editorial, industry news, watch reviews, and commentary on more reasonably priced or entry level luxury brands. You'll also find the aBlogtoRead.com awards exclusively here, especially the Bad Idea Award that has been my favorite to carefully give out.
