SAN FRANCISCO INVITE: Tiffany & Co. Watches Event Hosted By Liev Schreiber & aBlogtoWatch Shows & Events

aBlogtoWatch would like to invite San Francisco Bay Area residents to an event at the Tiffany & Co. Post Street boutique in San Francisco on the evening of March 10th, 2017. Co-hosted by actor Liev Schreiber and Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch, this event is meant to celebrate the newly remodeled Tiffany & Co. space, as well as offer an opportunity for guests to customize their own watches with the Tiffany & Co. Watch Workshop (aBlogtoWatch review here).

SAN FRANCISCO INVITE: Tiffany & Co. Watches Event Hosted By Liev Schreiber & aBlogtoWatch Shows & Events

Tiffany & Co., as the largest and most prestigious American-owned luxury brand, has renewed their focus on classic men’s watches over the last few years, with the Watch Workshop merely adding a meaningful level of customization (at a reasonable price) for clients who want a more personalized watch-wearing experience within the Tiffany CT60 timepiece collection. We welcome watch and jewelry lovers to come experience Tiffany & Co. hospitality and watch conversation with brand ambassador Liev Schreiber and aBlogtoWatch founder Ariel Adams.

The event will have as much appeal for men as it does women, so couples of all types are invited to attend. While the Watch Workshop is available to anyone who wants to personalize a 40mm-wide Tiffany CT60 timepiece, the event on this evening will also see the debut of a new personalization service for women. Tiffany & Co. will now offer (at select locations) the ability for customers to personalize the straps for the women’s Tiffany East West Mini or the Tiffany Cocktail watches.

Tiffany & Co. will be bringing a number of special exhibition items to the Post Street boutique that night (such as the original Tiffany & Co. wristwatch owned by Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1940s that the Tiffany CT60 collection is based on), as well as providing food and drinks for all guests. aBlogtoWatch has also arranged for a number of complimentary copies of the Tiffany & Co. “Tiffany Time” book to be provided to guests while supplies last.

The Tiffany & Co. with aBlogtoWatch event will take place on March 10th, 2017, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at 350 Post Street in San Francisco. On behalf of Tiffany & Co., aBlogtoWatch encourages San Francisco and Bay Area locals to RSVP soon to the e-mail address [email protected] in order to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there. tiffany.com

  • ??????

Who is the maker of Tiffany watches in Switzerland?

    • Sheez Gagoo

Once, it was the SG. Ended with a disaster and they sued each other. Now, I don’t know.

    • Marius

According to Tiffany, all their watches are made in Switzerland, at the Tiffany & Co workshop (Tiffany&Co Swiss Watches SAGL). According to Tiffany, they “work with carefully selected suppliers.”

As for the calibers, here is what they use:
      The CT 60 three-hander uses a Sellita.
The CT 60 chronograph uses a La Joux-Perret.
The CT 60 Calendar uses a Dubois Depraz caliber 5933.

      • ??????

Good for them if they really have some kind of very own manufacture. But I still doubt that all their watches aren’t just made by OEM outside manufacturers 🙂

        • Marius

You are right, all the parts i.e. movements, cases, and dials are outsourced to third-party suppliers. According to the Tiffany’s press release, these parts are then assembled in their “workshop” in Switzerland. However, Tiffany’s is rather unclear as to what workshop actually means. Just as you said, I also believe that their watches are made by an outside manufacturer.

It is done the traditional way with good suppliers in Switzerland and they are open about it. The majority of brands are not open about the fact that they use a range of suppliers, and there is no shame in hiding it. What people should be concerned with is an ultimately good product on their wrist from good suppliers, shouldn’t matter if they are all owned by the same group or not.

Yet another lovely evening of watch talk and hors d’oeuvres that i am going to miss all because of a small transatlantic flight and a visa. Hope you all have a lovely evening.

    • Lincolnshire Poacher

      ..

    • Sheez Gagoo

This kind of evening we call “gepflegte Langeweile”. The Germans are the best with words.

      • Raymond Wilkie

Cultivated boredom : ) To be honest that’s pretty much what it would be. I would feel a bit out of place.

        • Sheez Gagoo

That’s why weed has been invented.
          1. Musicals
          2. Romantic comedies
          3. Gepflegte Langeweile events
          4. Planes (as a passenger)
          5. Planes (as a pilot)

          • Sheez Gagoo

Btw: Do you need a visa for the U.S. from scotland? I don’t think so.

          • Raymond Wilkie

4 out of 6 aint bad.

  • I did not peg Sabretooth as a Tiffany’s watch fan 😉

  • Simon_Hell

All i see is a miniature kitchen wall clock design. Who wears this?

And why does it say New York yet Swiss made? Have some guts Tiffany, if you are a US brand, have the product made in the US instead of in some cheap child labor sweat shop somewhere in Switzerland.

    Release the Trump!

    • SuperStrapper

WTF are you talking about? A little early to be this drunk, no?

  • Sheez Gagoo

Do they already have a new CEO? Liev Schreiber. Really? Once, they had Audrey Hepburn. They should rethink their cheapo strategy during a breakfast.

    • IG

      They should hire Lindsay Lohan.

      • Sheez Gagoo

Believe it or not, I think she’s hot. I like this kind of crazy bitch.

        • The Deplorable Boogur T. Wang

          NBT – (nothing but trouble)

          • Sheez Gagoo

I know, but I can’t help myself. Sometimes the “heart” wants what the “heart” wants. I had some women that caused trouble, but they also caused huge fun and adventure. Don’t regret any of them.

  • IG

    Thanks but I pass.

  • Marius

I don’t know what to say. I really don’t know what to say about this “event.” Customizing watches sounds like a cool activity, but when Ray Donovan sits next to you, with a baseball bat in his hand, the term “Watch Workshop” takes a completely different meaning.

Could that be an Omega Seamaster he’s rocking in that picture? Awkward…..

    • Ariel Adams

I’m gonna make sure Liev stays in character all night.
