aBlogtoWatch & Girard-Perregaux invite watch lovers to a July 25th, 2013 event in NYC.
It was a delightful surprise when I was contacted by Ariel, and was told that I won the monthly drawing contest for a Casio Protrek watch from aBlogtoWatch. While I like to consider myself a watch enthusiast, I had to admit that I had a severe lack of adventure/sport watches.
Please give congrats to Jim G. of Oklahoma City, OK who was the lucky winner of the Yes Inca watch that we gave-away last month during March here on aBlogtoWatch. We hope he used it well, and thanks to all who entered.
Last chance to enter for a chance to win one of these extremely cool Yes Inca watches with just about all of the (easy to read) astronomical information you’d need. A unique timepiece that combines traditional elegance with a sophisticated digital dial.
Congrats to Brian S. of Carol Stream, Illinois who won the Casio ProTrek PRG550 watch we gave-away on aBlogtoWatch last month in February. Don’t forget to enter for this month’s YES Inca watch giveaway right here on aBlogtoWatch.
You have about one day left to enter for a chance to win this cool Casio ProTrek PRG550 “go anywhere, do anything” multi-sensor watch (here) on aBlogtoWatch.
Congrats to Brett R. from New South Wales, Australia who was the winner of the Xetum Tyndall watch giveaway from January 2013 on aBlogtoWatch.
Ever wondered what it is like to work with Ariel Adams? I certainly did, and in the last four months, I have been treated to a spectacle beyond my comprehension, leading to a vague understanding that perhaps I have stumbled into a place that I was meant to be.
SIHH watch week in Geneva, the third week in January, has become an exhilarating, exhausting onslaught of watch love, filled with astounding, jaw-dropping displays of design, engineering and skill found at SIHH, the Geneva Time Exhibition (GTE) and in hotels along the Quai des Bergues where independents display their wares.
Today I received an interesting press release from the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) regarding the end of the 2013. Interestingly enough the title of the release very much mimicked the most positive way I could interpret my feelings about the show. But more on that in a moment.
Casio nor its ProTrek (formerly Pathfinder) line of outdoors watches need any introduction. On aBlogtoWatch we’ve listed these timepieces as among the ultimate survival watches as well as some of the highest-value watches when it comes to bang for your buck.
In about a week I will be on the ground in Geneva covering the 2013 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH). Read this full post cause the important stuff is at the end.
Announcing the winners of the 2012 holiday watch and trip giveaway by Frederique Constant.
The first giveaway of 2013 is for a lovely Xetum timepiece. California-based watch brand Xetum continues to satisfy as they slowly dole out new options such as bracelets for their watches as well as this new PVD black-coated version of their famous Tyndall model.
Have you entered the December 2012 holiday giveaway on aBlogtoWatch? Second and third place winners get their choice of Frederique Constant or Alpina watches while the first place winner gets an all-expenses paid trip to Geneva to build and take home their very own watch with an in-house made movement.
