When I checked a few days ago I learned that Kobe Bryant has over 15 million fans on his Facebook page. That is a ton of people that Hublot just earned access to in their recent acquisition of Mr. Bryant as their newest mega-popular athlete brand ambassador.

I was with Hublot in Las Vegas for a very atypical watch event. A merging of two extremely different worlds coming together for fun, publicity, and the pursuit of mutual goals.
Hublot debuted this watch in Shanghai during a public charity event where Mr. Maradona himself kicked a soccer ball to raise money for kids. If only it was that simple. Why the legendary Argentinian soccer (ahem, I mean “football”) player went to China for Hublot and his own watch is probably an amusing story. Suffice […]
Hublot brand ambassador and all-around nice guy Usain Bolt just got his first limited edition watch. Usain Bolt is the fastest recorded runner and is often affectionately referred to as the “fastest man in the world”. Actually he is not from Africa but rather Jamaica. A little while ago (before this watch was released) I […]
“Oh, hello carbon fiber. Yeah, I haven’t seen you in a while. I know you used to hang out here a lot, but over the last few years ceramic has been stealing a lot of the attention. We didn’t always get along when you were popular, but you did have your moments.” This carbon fiber-based […]
OK come on, this watch is cool. I am not even a basketball or Miami Heat fan, but this watch is really cool. It doesn’t take a lot of thought to understand why Hublot is doing well with the aspirational youth audience or wealthy individuals who wouldn’t take a Patek out for a night on […]
Since the Hublot F1 King Power as a watch is not new I will not going into detail about the technicalities. This is a new limited edition of 250 pieces (like all of them) for Japan’s Suzuka race track released recently at 2011 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. It has a cool skeletonized dial and […]
I am not always sure what Jean-Claude Biver is thinking. The machine-gun minded Swiss CEO covers so many bases when deciding what new Hublot watches are made that it can be almost impossible to predict what will come next. However, I do know one thing: Mr. Biver is watch lover. It might sound ironic, or […]
The first thing that came to mind when I first saw this image in an e-mail from Hublot was “wait, what?” I didn’t get it. What was this? At first I thought the image of Bernie Ecclestone was some type of painting. I am not familiar with his face, but I do know of his work […]
In 1994 a terrible accident during an F1 race in Italy caused Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna to die. I believe that he was the last person to die during a Formula 1 race, and has been a testament to the needs of caution and safety in the work of super-fast racing circuits. Since his death, […]
Look more closely, the two watches in this article are different. Though seriously – while they are cool looking -you’d think that Hublot might have wanted to make them look just a tad bit more different. The major difference of course is the case. One is in a Big Bang case, and the other is […]
Hublot really did something special with this watch, and it looks just great. Totally epitomizing what fresh Hublot designs can feel like. In addition to the great King Power model based design, this watch has two special innovations that you will really like. First, is a world’s first developed by Hublot – a red sapphire […]
Over at Haute Living I wrote about this interesting new all black Hublot watch – now with an in-house made Tourbillon movement (yay for Hublot “adopting” much of BNB Concept). Pretty interesting and about $160,000. See my Hublot King Power Tourbillon Manufacture watch article at Haute Lving here.
