The Sinn T1 and T2 Titanium Dive Watches

Always a fan of a well-sorted diver, these new models from Sinn have been flirting with my wallet since we first saw them at BaselWorld last week. The all-new Sinn T1 and T2 divers offer a different perspective on the tool diver platform we’ve come to expect from Sinn after such hits as the U1, U2 and UX divers.

Sinn U1 Tegimented Diving Watch Review

Dive watches, especially Sinn, are arguably the ultimate tool watches. They are typically rugged, water resistant, and usually offer some means to measure elapsed time. However, few use their dive watches outside the office. “Desk-diving” is the most common destiny of a modern dive watch and to highlight the irony…

A Quick Overview Of Sinn Watches

When it comes to watches, we all have our particular tastes – one person may love chronographs, and another may opt for a simple three-hander.  What we can all appreciate though, are a handful of attributes that a single brand has built into their entire lineup: Impeccable German aesthetics Solid build quality Impressive mechanical movements [...]

Sinn Modell 901 Watch Hands-On

German Sinn watches are known for serious professional-use timepieces and not much else. A design-oriented novelty watch, no matter how well-made, just isn’t part of their DNA. That doesn’t mean they haven’t dabbled in fanciful things though.

Sinn EZM 10 Watch Hands-On

Over a year ago I waxed poetic on the upcoming Sinn EZM 10 when I introduced the watch here. Later I was able to get my hands on the lovely Teutonic uber watch and I am smitten all over again. Sinn watches hold a special place in my heart because the brand exists in a total bubble. They totally do. They create very useful and durable mechanical watches for a world that probably doesn’t need them as much as Sinn thinks they do.

Sinn 857 Watch

I just got finished using a German proxy server to trick Sinn’s website into thinking I was viewing it from their homeland. Why did I do this? To get the price of this new 857 collection watch for you.

Sinn Chronograph Tachymeter Limited Edition Watch

German Sinn timepieces are really hard for us tool watch lovers to resist. Often stalwart in their new products, over the last few years they have been a bit more trendy and playful. While I don’t know first hand, I have a feeling that the Bell & Ross success was a major eye-opener for them. [...]

Baselworld Best: Timepieces To Watch In 2012

Leaving Baselworld each year is bitter sweet because I tend to have such a good time. I don’t get to see even a third of what I would like to check out, and it is great to be among my friends and close colleagues for over a week. It is tiring however, and during final [...]

Damasko DA44 Watch

One of the most notoriously difficult to find German watch brands is Damasko. They tend to make cool, high-function tool watches for a fair price. If you are a fan of Sinn, you’ll also like Damasko – and it goes without saying that Damasko’s designs are highly inspired by Sinn timepieces (which are also less [...]

Sinn EZM 10 Watch

This will be German Sinn’s new flagship rough activity watch, and the tenth watch to bear the EZM title. I quite love this watch and further find it interesting that it is quite retro in design in comparison to where the EZM series was going. Though not like 1950′s retro – which is a darn [...]

Sinn 358 Chronograph Watches

Almost under the radar comes this new Sinn 358 watch. Did I intend to make that initial statement because this is a pilot watch? No but it works. I love timepieces like this that are all tool and do not look like they are made to be worn by tools. German Sinn watches continue to [...]

Sinn EZM 7 Watch

Sinn has been getting real divers and desk divers alike drooling from the mouth since the 1990s with their seriously pro EZM line of watch. “EZM” stands for Einsatzzeitmesser, which roughly translates into “mission timer.” Really happy they chose to shorten that word to just “EZM.” Also sounds E-Z to say. These watches have come [...]

Sinn 900 Pilot S Chronograph Watch

Die Fliegeruhr 900 FLIEGER S! Der große Fliegerchronograph! This new tool watch from German brand Sinn is a handsome looker, and saying “screw you!” (in German) to fashion watches. This pilot style watch is a compliment to similar dive chronograph watches from Sinn. Such as the  U1000. While the 900 Pilot is no longer brand [...]

Sinn Model 902 Limited Edition Watch

I think Audi is the brand to mostly thank for this new Sinn timepiece. Back in 2004 (ish) they worked with Sinn to create a couple of limited edition watches branded “Audi Design.” Those watches (at least some of them) you can see below, and seem to be where this squareish, cushion case style came [...]
