Corva is a new, independent micro watch brand designed in Indonesia and manufactured with attention to the utmost quality. We’re a team of three people with years of experience in brand management as well as product and graphic design who have decided to pursue our passion in watchmaking and dedicate ourselves full-time to bringing Corva to life. Today, we’d like to introduce you to the Corva Saxodate watch.

It’s a competitive world, and we believe the achievements of young people today, whether small or large, call for celebration. We want to be part of that celebration by offering a watch for those who seek a distinct style that represents their accomplishments.

The design of the Corva Saxodate is based on the vintage quality of the ’70s, when some of the world’s watch icons like the Patek Philippe Nautilus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, or Vacheron Constantin 222 were born. This era marked a complete turning point in watch design when special purpose sports watches and traditional gold dress watches gave way to luxury stainless steel sports models as a new category. Inspired by this break from tradition, we blend the best of both worlds with a watch that represents the freedom of breaking from tradition, yet retains the high quality of traditional watchmaking.

The Corva Saxodate is distinguished by its robust design. It has a solid stainless steel monocoque case and a single domed sapphire crystal as a slight vintage reference, yet you can also feel its luxury from the circular brushed finishing on the top part of the case with a touch of the polished finishing on its side to add character. The case measures 40mm wide, 12mm thick, and 46mm from lug to lug, with its 20mm lug size complemented by a stainless steel bracelet with a folding flip-lock clasp.

An excellent time teller should always serve the wearer, so we created custom hand-applied indices adorned with Super-LumiNova C1 luminous filling for optimal reading regardless of light conditions, and a hand-applied logo on the dial. The Corva Saxodate comes in three color variations: black, white, and the limited edition “midnight blue” that reflects the subtle gradient of the midnight sky. The Midnight Blue option will be released in a limited quantity of 150 pieces, exclusively available on Kickstarter.

The quality of the watch’s inner workings matches its distinct exterior. The Corva Saxodate has an SII NH35 engine manufactured by Seiko Time Instruments with three hands, additional date functions, and a 41-hour power reserve. The NH35 can be hand-wound and hacked, beating at 21,600 bph and requiring less servicing—thus it has a longer lifespan.

After our meticulous attention to detail and extensive quality tests, we’re confident that the Corva Saxodate is a timepiece you can enjoy for many years to come. Delivering a high-quality product is our main priority, and we back it up with a five year warranty.

We’re excited to offer this special timepiece to accompany you on the road to success. Our campaign is now live on Kickstarter with early bird pricing of $199 until early October ($470 is the future retail price).
