From November 18th to November 26th, eBay is offering an easy way to save on your holiday shopping with 10% off watches $2,000 or more. Buyers can shop with confidence because eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee means that watches covered under that program will be inspected before being sent to the recipient. Details of the promotion can be seen here. Shoppers can use the coupon code TIME2SAVE to receive the discount on a single eligible luxury watch per user with a maximum discount of $500. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items in the luxury watches category purchased on eBay.com.

ShopWorn is one of eBay’s top sellers, and this coupon is eligible for use in its store. It is an excellent resource for finding watches that are in like-new condition at reduced prices. Since 2015, ShopWorn has developed a following by offering 100% authentic, previously unsold wristwatches (as well as other items like writing instruments, cuff links, and accessories) at consumer-friendly prices online. ShopWorn purchases these watches either directly from brands (who often take back unsold retailer inventory) or directly from authorized dealers. These watches are not entirely new because they have been lightly handled (for example as a store display piece), but they are also not pre-owned (since they have never been purchased by a consumer). ShopWorn even has its own in-house watchmakers, and potential buyers can call and speak to a human being to have any questions answered. You can view watches in ShopWorn’s eBay store and use the coupon at this link.

Although it’s not the latest model, this Montblanc Timewalker Chronograph still has an of-the-moment air about it. Large Arabic hour markers are finished in polished stainless steel, and because the watch is a 43mm, there is still plenty of real estate on the dial to ensure that the chronograph subdials are legible. Strips of lume on all hands help at night, too. When viewed from the side, even more detail is present. The lugs are hollowed out, featuring a satin finish in the recesses. The requisite Montblanc mountaintop logo is present in black and white on the crown but also in steel on the screws that secure its leather strap.

The Timewalker Chronograph is powered by Montblanc’s version of the ETA Valjoux 7753 that the brand dubbed the caliber MB 25.02. It operates at 28,800vph and has 46 hours of power reserve. It has a Geneva-striped rotor and blued-steel screws. It’s a bold-looking timepiece from a brand that even those non-watch collectors have probably heard of (due to its famous pens). The ShopWorn store at eBay has a variety of Montblanc watches that qualify for the Authenticity Guarantee available here.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec GMT FourX Palladium Automatic

The most expensive watch on this list is also the one that is packed with complications. It features the time, 24 hr GMT hand, second GMT ring that jumps east or west (allowing for the tracking of three time zones), plus a 12-hour chronograph and the date (indicated by a skeletonized date disc, no less). The COSC-certified CFB 1091.1 movement started life as an ETA 2894 chronograph but has Bucherer’s modifications applied. Additionally, the way that the second GMT ring is adjusted is unique. If you turn the lock ring clockwise and push the pusher, the ring jumps to the east in one-hour increments, vice versa when traveling west. This makes it an interesting travel watch for a collector looking for something off the beaten path.

The FourX version is named for the four materials used to construct the case. The case material is 950 palladium. Ceramic is used for the bezel (a scratch-resistant material for the most scratch-prone area). Finally, titanium and rubber are used for the crown and chronograph pushers. Sapphire is, of course, used for the crystal, including the magnifier, and a small window on the side of the case offering a view of the gears that operate the bezel system. Despite its large 46.6mm width, short lugs and a flat case make it wear comfortably. And you can get all of this for about half of what this watch would have cost new. Click this link to view Carl F. Image 1 - Dior Viii Montaigne Diamond Automatic Ladies Watch CD1535I0M001

Dior Viii Montaigne Diamond Automatic CD1535I0M001

Often, when watches from luxury fashion brands are marketed as “ladies'” watches, they are fairly unimpressive from a hobbyist standpoint. That is not the case with this Dior, however. The Viii (named for the 8th day of October that the fashion house was created in 1946) is a watch that can be appreciated by more serious collectors. It starts with a bracelet featuring intricate faceted links. At 36mm, it has a bezel made from solid 18k rose gold. The white mother of pearl dial is set with diamonds, and the 8 o’clock marker in Roman numerals is a subtle nod to the model name.

Add to that a Swiss automatic movement (on display through the caseback), sapphire crystal, 42 hours of power reserve, and water resistance of 50m, and the appeal to those more serious about watches is apparent. Sure, it doesn’t have a high complication in-house movement, but it’s also priced accordingly. View Dior watches that qualify for the Authenticity Guarantee in the ShopWorn store on eBay at here.

Corum Bubble 47 Titanium Automatic L407/03573

The Corum brand has always pushed the boundaries of watchmaking and design, epitomized by its Bubble series of watches. Although many of the Bubble pieces are fairly wild, the 47 Titanium “Revolver” is definitely one of its most polarizing. Besides just being 47mm-wide and over 20mm-tall, it has a party trick up its sleeve. On the dial is depicted the cylinder of a revolver with a bullet in one of its six chambers. Push the crown in, and the cylinder spins, allowing the wearer and friends to play a non-lethal version of Russian roulette!

This version is part of a limited edition Of 188 pieces (as if you thought you’d ever see another person wearing one). Corum’s caliber CO 4017 automatic movement features 33 jewels and 42 hours of power reserve. It’s also water-resistant to 100m and features a rubber strap. The hands are leaf-shaped, and filled with Super-LumiNova. If you’re okay with its wild appearance, this watch could be worn for any kind of daily activity.
