aBlogtoWatch is proud to invite our readers and other local Los Angeles-based watch enthusiasts to a first-of-its-kind event produced alongside eBay. Hosted on the Rooftop Terrance at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel on the evening of September 8, 2022, the event will feature two main draws: The first is an opportunity for guests to meet with a variety of eBay sellers who will be bringing wristwatch inventory (as well as fine jewelry and luxury handbags) that people can view and purchase on the spot. The second is a valuable coupon incentive eBay will offer that event guests can use to further sweeten the deals already awaiting them.
For aBlogtoWatch, this aspect of the event is important because it allows many of eBay’s valued Los Angeles-based luxury watch sellers to interact directly with consumers who can view and discuss their products for sale in person. We know that a lot of watch commerce happens online, but it is often easiest to make a decision about a new watch when you can view it in person, and eBay and aBlogtoWatch are very excited to connect luxury enthusiasts and watch collectors with some of the best pre-owned luxury sellers in town.
The second draw of the event is something even more novel. We are encouraging watch lovers to bring timepieces they are interested in trading to the event (there will be security, but liability limitations do apply). Watches you bring to this eBay and aBlogtoWatch event can be traded or sold with the participating eBay vendors. We know that when most watch collectors want to let go of a watch in their possession, the goal is to upgrade to a new watch. So, bring the watches you no longer want, but that others might treasure, to this innovative event concept in collaboration with eBay.
The fun starts at 7 pm PST on September 8, 2022. Guests of aBlogtoWatch and eBay will enjoy food and beverages in addition to the evening’s activity.
