Gearing up for its third annual event is LAmicroLUX, which will take place on the weekend of November 6th and 7th, 2021. Following last year’s virtual event, watch enthusiasts, industry insiders, and brand ambassadors will gather in person at the iconic Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles. A celebration of watch culture, LAmicroLUX is a great opportunity for enthusiasts to check out new releases, meet brand representatives, and have fun being around like-minded watch aficionados.

While most watch fairs primarily focus on smaller microbrands and independents, LAmicroLUX is noteworthy in that it is one of the first events to successfully integrate well-known mainstream brands with more approachably priced, enthusiast-driven boutique brands together under one roof. Accordingly, it’s a fun chance for watch enthusiasts of all types to hold space together. In years past, LAmicroLUX has attracted major participants such as Omega, Grand Seiko, Zenith, Nomos, and Breitling. This year’s event will include an intriguing mix of some of our favorite microbrands such as Ocean Crawler, Laco, and Towson Watch Company, as well as some relatively more mainstream brands like Norqain, Raymond Weil, Ernst Benz, and Luminox.

Renowned multi-brand watch retailer Westime will be serving as one of the event’s major sponsors. Recognized worldwide as one of Southern California’s preeminent luxury retail destinations, Westime is proud to carry an impressive array of leading watch brands, including Omega, Breitling, Audemars Piguet, Grand Seiko, and more. In addition to its standing as an authorized retailer of new watches, Westime is also known for its first-class inventory of pre-owned timepieces. In fact, Westime’s Rodeo Drive location will soon be adding a new floor that will focus entirely on high-end certified pre-owned watches.

Bausele, one of Australia’s biggest and most successful watch brands, will be making its United States debut at the event. In addition to presenting its impressive collection of watches, which are designed in Australia and crafted with the luxury and technology of Swiss engineering, Bausele will also be hosting brand ambassador and movie star Dominic Purcell. Purcell, the star of Fox’s Prison Break and Netflix’s Blood Red Sky, will be available for a meet and greet during select hours at the Bausele booth. Over the last 18 months, it’s safe to say that many of us have grown used to browsing, learning about, and fawning over watches online. However, events like LAmicroLUX offer enthusiasts a social and tactile experience that just can’t be duplicated in the digital domain. It’s an opportunity for us to gather together in a fun and engaging environment, experience watches in the metal, and have great conversations with fellow aficionados. We can’t wait to see you there!
