WATCH GIVEAWAY: Delta Hydra Limited-Edition Dive Watch Pair

WATCH GIVEAWAY: Delta Hydra Limited-Edition Dive Watch Pair Giveaways

Spring is just around the corner, and aBlogtoWatch is celebrating the warmer weather with a pair of watches perfect for your next ocean excursion. For our March 2020 giveaway, we’re offering not one, but two limited-edition Hydra dive watches from Delta for one lucky winner. Taking inspiration from the professional dive watches of the ‘70s, as well as the Greek island of the same name, the Hydra offers distinctive and bold retro diver styling with incredible capability and value.

The 50mm-wide, 19-2mm thick stainless steel case lends an imposing presence on the wrist, with a profile dominated by sharply angular guards around the oversized screwdown crown at 9 o’clock. along with the striking anodized orange helium escape valve button at 2 o’clock. The broad-toothed bezel is topped with a legible, modern aluminum insert in both black and orange surrounding a tall single-dome sapphire crystal. All these elements together deliver an incredible 2000 meters of water resistance, suitable for any underwater adventure.

The dials of the Delta Hydra divers are aggressive takes on the classic professional diver formula, with oversized sword hands in white and high visibility orange filled with a generous amount of lume. The indices and minutes track are designed for maximum underwater legibility, with a clean geometric design.

The Hydra is powered by a dependable Seiko NH35 automatic movement, offering -20/+40 seconds a day accuracy and a 41-hour power reserve.

Delta offers the Hydra on a 22mm oyster-style bracelet. The watch currently retails at $379.99, giving our pair a total prize value of $759.98.

  • I’d like them to release a nice aviator tool watch!

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Thank you, lots of folks are commenting on an aviator watch, have a great day & please check us out at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Hydra is one of my favorite islands so I will definitely take the watches diving there!

  • I’d like them to offer a smaller, more discreet version, of this great looking Hydra.

  • Adam foster

Love the orange bezel. It really brings some fun to the wrist. Especially for such a high depth rated dive watch

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Thank you Adam, yes I thought Orange was a classic divers watch variation, check us out at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Juan

  • Steve

    a pilot watch

  • Sipemon

    I’d love a bronze model

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Ahh Brozne is very popular, hmm let me stew on this 🙂 please see more at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • ?????? ??????????

I’d like to see something made with human beings in mind. Sub 43/13mm

  • Sarosto

Cool watche, I would like to see their take on a flieger

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Nice, second person suggesting some thing other than a divers watch. I will consider it. please see more at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • vittorio pescarmona

It would be very cool if they could come out with something super modern with this kind of shape and structure! Thinking about some design attributes that are very “new”, kinda like what Helm does with their divers

  • Jan Hi

    Awesome duo!
I would also like to see an aviation themed tool watch.

  • Richard Arseneault

This is a well designed piece. Maybe future models would have a few added complications. By creating a tachymetre, Delta could expand their look. I could just imagine how attractive it would look if they incorporated sub-dials into the watch.

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Hmm, thank you Richard, I will keep this in mind, thank you for your interest see http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Justin

I would love to see a 40mm version.

  • Rory Fitzy

Impressive specs. Love the orange bezel and aggressive hands! Next up… one without the helium valve.

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

thank you Rory for your interest & input, so your thinking an HE valve on the side next time is my guess.
For further info, please see http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Steve Bowden

What would I like to see next from the Brand? I would like to see a ‘lume-monster’ dial. By a ‘lume-monster’ I mean that the entire dial has lumination applied. The hands and indices could be a different colour lume, or perhaps left unlumed? The watches are large, and have a lot of space on the dial…the resulting lume effect would be impressive. Also, on your website, you should always include a lume-shot of your watches. Lume shots of watches should be mandatory!
Delta watches deserves internet bonus points for impressive depth rating and for going the extra mile with with providing a pdf spec sheet for the movement.
Thanks to Delta Watches and ABTW for holding this contest.
Bonus non-pro tip: I don’t know much about search optimization, but the DeltaWatch website is hard to find when you search for ‘Delta Watch’ or ‘Delta Watches’. Thought you should know.

  • SeanM

A skeleton dive watch would be interesting

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Hmm, yes there are folks that are doing this in diving watches. thank you for your interest check us out at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Martin Francis

So in the Hydra we have the embodiment of a sizeable, confident and wholly competent execution of a tough technical/tool watch. Pretty damn good for a first time product. So now for the follow-up; sustain the confidence and competence and seek to install a thread of elegance and refinement. A smaller and thinner model perhaps, still with strength and poise but more Saville Row suit than BDU’s.

  • Chris Bos

How about a SuperLuminova edition? With heaps of the stuff to impress everybody. On the dial, the markers, the watchband, just everywhere.

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

Hi Chris, thank you for your input, your the second person that wants a LUME monster 🙂 please check us out at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Simonh

Super watch, how about a GMT?

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

thank you for your interest, a GMT would be fun, please check us out at http://www.deltawatch.co

  • Cesar Augusto Guerios

Field watch is my next desire from the brand.

  • Emre Bülbül

A less complicated dive watch with a white dial having a resonant lume would be awesome, cheers.

  • Apostolos Agalos

Love Hydra and the watch, good chance to a lucky one for a nice watch

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

      Thank you 🙂

  • Good Life Project

Love this set of Dive watches. My wife would love matching watches.

    • vasilis anagnostopoulos

      Best of luck!

  • Miguel -MO

Love the set. How a day/date functionality!

  • ?????

Hi Delta Hydra from my homeland Greece.

I am excited and very pleased that your company has chosen its name from the letter “Delta”, of the Greek alphabet and gave the wonderful name “Hydra” to the new model of its watch.
We also find the name “Hydra” in Greek Mythology, which refers to Heracles’ labors.

Both of these new Delta Hydra watches are gorgeous and look good for the reason they came out in production.
Lots of “Bravo” to Delta watchmakers.
For the next Delta watch models, I would like them to have solar power, cellphone-PC connectivity and GPS.
    Thank you for the communication.

  • Gary Granger

I would like to see a smaller piece 42mm-44mm, and maybe some T-100 tubes for true darkness. The 50mm is OK for real diving but a bit large for other activities.

  • Steve

A good watch is not necessary to set up with complicate appearance. It would be nice to keep simple for the next dive watch.

  • eboldo

Awesome watches, I would like to see a version with glowing tritium gas tubes to illuminate this dials.

  • Giovanni

I love the 70’s retro look and the big bold size is perfect.

  • Dick Mille

Love the one with the orange bezel! Fingers crossed.

  • Harold Buttolph

I love “dive” watches althoughI I can only swim in the bathtub!!. These appear to be very rugged well made pieces.

  • Joe Guzik

Cool watches! I would love to see them do a skin diver style watch.

  • Alexander Balkin

    GMT

  • Jeff Obania

What I’d like to see next from the brand is: a moonphase complication.

  • John Winnard

Very nice watches… A watch with a lower depth rating would be a good addition, in my opinion. Perhaps in the classic 200 – 300 m range?
But this is still a good looking watch set!

  • TKoren

Super fun, I would love to take my wife on an adventure with these. Maybe a bullhead would be fun for hydra to make.

  • ARWIN MACHADO

These are pretty, even prttier in my wrist perhaps?

  • Steven Inglis

Functional art at its best, it would be my first dive watch and what a way to pop my cherry.Next up I would love to see something with tritium.

  • Maxtor

A GMT seems like a good companion to this watch. Maybe size it down to a 42.

  • dr.alexandris

Great watch!!! Thank you so much Hydra; i hope to win the give away, so amazing !!!

  • Epichartou

Nice watches. I guess after the ’70s inspired Hydra, I would love to see a 38mm ’60s inspired diver. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • ZacR

I am always a sucker for a good teaneu case. Or perhaps a limited edition depth gauge?

  • Daniel D.

Let’s see some use of ceramic and a smaller size.

  • Harold

Very nice! I would be interested in seeing Delta do an aviator style watch.

  • Francesco Pelloso

Great tool watches! Woul love to try it diving

  • Ryan Jackson

2000 meters of water resistance at that prince point and with those looks, what a winner!

  • D.C.

I’d love to see another diver with a 70’s-style influence!

  • Eric Durkee

I like having a gauge on an automatic. Sapphire crystal and a glass back.

  • Raymond Wilkie

The 50mm-wide, 19-2mm thick stainless steel case….I’m not sure i could lift my fork with this on.

  • Ozgun Can Ozgunes

A model with interesting lume arrangement may be a selling point.

  • Daniel Dieringer

It’s a clear homage to the PLOPROF Omega Seamaster but less ugly. That would be such a fun watch to wear, particularly given all the comments and questions it would initiate.

  • Kelly O’Neal

A smaller thinner watch for terrestrial explorers would be a way to attract some buyers who may be mildly considering the Seiko Alpinist. A watch for gentleman explorers unlike typical field watch fare.

  • Rick Collins

WOW!!! 2000 meters, impressive!!! would like to see something in the form of a GMT

  • Maarten

I love the size! Maybe a diver with a blue dial next time?

  • Phlip74

I really like both of these watches, I know a lot of people like autos but I would like both of these in a good quality quartz movement for a solid watch i don’t have to service as much!!

  • Mike V

I would like to see a vintage inspired GMT

  • Mack

That’s an incredible price for these specs.

I would like to see their take on a 70s super-compressor case diver as their second watch.

  • Paul Morris Carfoot

YOU CAN SEE THE INSPERATION FOR THE DESIGN, PLOPROF ANYONE.

  • John Francis

Great looking watches, and the spec for the price is fantastic.

  • David Rainey

This is a very nice looking watch. The price is great also. But that size is monstrous. i would like to see the same watch in something around a 43. 50 is just crazy and would look ridiculous on most people. Also, post some pictures on your website that shows the lume. Brands that don’t provide these pics seem like they are hiding something, like perhaps they know the lume quality is poor?

  • 0059mike

I’d like a slimmer, gmt version in future.

  • Jon W

I’m thinking a pilot watch next. A lot thinner and more mainstream in size would probably be a good thing too.

  • Cary Lewison

Love to see this vintage design in a bronze case with a Blancpain 50 fathoms inspired bezel.

  • Brett Lintvelt

I would like to see a GMT version with at least 100m water resistance.

  • Norman

Interesting watch. Might be a little large for me, but I’ll find that out when I win it. Okay, okay, if I win it. nice specs over all.

  • tim blanz

I’d like for them to attempt a smaller dive watch for their next iteration, with preference on a slimmer height profile. Kudos for making a “his and hers” dive set, as my wife and I both LOVE to dive!

  • P.Panagiotidis

    A smaller diver

  • Robert Carson

I think I’d like to see other tool watches with the 9 o-clock crown. Something a bit smaller than these dive watches.

  • Randy Bradford

Very nice! I like any watch that has an aeronautical or Nautical glint about it. would love to add to my limited collection.

  • RM

Cool watch(es) with fun retro features at a value price point. Well done. I’d like to see a large (low to mid 40mm range) rather than this huge and bulky design. Both sizes have their place but it’s nice to have options.

  • Seth L

What to see next? A field watch or pilots watch would be great. Depending on execution there can be lots of crossover between divers, field watches, and pilots watches – but given the distinct styling of the Hydra, it seems like Delta is not looking to straddle the fence between styles. Go make a distinctive field watch that pulls no punches and apologizes to no one.

  • Walter Van Tine

These are great prizes! I’d be happy o share with my wife! Fingers crossed!

  • Demonix

Beast of a watch for the money! I would like to see the same case and bracelet design in titanium with a ceramic bezel insert and an upgrade to a Swiss automatic movement ETA or Sellita.

  • SH

Nice pair. One for me and one for the boss. It would be nice to see one similar in bronze.

  • Roshid Subramanian

Very nice watches for the cost. Value for money.

  • Adam Goldstein

2000 meter for less than $400 is amazing. It’s a great looking watch also. For their next watch I think something with a little less water resistance and a tad thinner.

  • A G

    Hehe a nice pair hehe….
Next please bring the real hydar logoo… the day will come and we will raise our heads and bring down the Shield.

  • Cami

Love the overall design..very unique and well proportioned. I’d like to see a deep dive domed version!

  • Jason H

Like the clean look. For the next watch, oil-filled all the way!

  • A. Ghafran

Next model could be similar to this design but smaller in diameter, 40mm seems nice

  • billy mclaughlin

Cool watches. Keep the orange bezel and give the other to a watch lover buddy. Would like to see an orange dial, 42-44mm, 12-14 thick. I could sacrifice some of the 2k resistance. If I’m that deep I’m in a submarine or a sunken boat.

  • Humphrey Mar

Beautiful watches – so clear. Would love a date window, and it’d be perfect.

  • Loi Shou De

This is a pretty nice homage. The price is really great value

  • Nixa

I’d like to see them make much thinner versions.

  • Garrett Gerhart

Wow I have never heard of these, but now I need 1…..or 2 lol

  • Alexander Cho

Would like to see a gmt chrono diver next, under 42mm

  • Michael Kopala

Great looking and well designed. Good for everyday use also.

  • Sean

I’d love to see an alternate strap

  • Bryan M

I’d like to see a smaller diameter diver 38-40mm range.

  • Curt Thompson

those are nice, but I’d definitely want to see them in titanium too.

  • Simon Stephan

Wow! Really stunning finish. This is how a watch in 2020 should look like, classic but stylish at the same time. I would like to get those, and wish for next release a huge gunmetal finish one, in some kind of a army look.

  • Stephen Booth

I think this is amazing, there is nothing wrong with the Seiko movement, I have a Seiko 5 sport day/date and I love it. I do not dive but bought my Seiko with 100m W/R because my work here in Cyprus is wet and heavy duty, ( cleaning swimming pools and lots of gardening and tree management) and the watch takes lots of punishment. This Hydra is amazing and with the spec should have a comma after the first number. If I had one of these I would be showing everyone I met and of course telling them how expensive it was…Well done Delta.

  • Tim Nicholls

I think it would be killer with a rubber strap.

  • triads

Looks really good, albeit a bit big. I love the design though, and how the helium escape is placed. I’d love to see a similar design with in a smaller size (40mm) with a green or white dial.

  • Ionesi Victor

Good looking watches. To fit my stile I would like to see some car inspired watches (DELTA Integrale 🙂 ).

  • Christopher

Would like to see a GMT version. Always great to have the added travel functionality when visiting diving destinations around the world!

  • Martin Chiu

Nice sporty dive watch, maybe a colourful skin diver should be next.

  • Martin Chiu

Nice sporty dive watch, maybe a colourful skin diver should be next.

  • frederico marques

What a beast of a watch, I’d love to get my hands on one!

  • What fresh hell is this?

    Looks familiar

  • What fresh hell is this?

    Looks familiar

  • Martin

Would like to see a full tool “chrono diver”. A one man band to show off

  • Greg Hall

Diver but with crown at 4 o’clock

  • Leo Y

What would I like to see next? A watch with a compass (like the Sarb017) or with the 1 dial showing minutes and another showing hours (like the ORIS Big Crown Diver)

  • skaapsker

I would like to see a white dial or a GMT complication. A white GMT version would be best.

  • Dobrin Tomov

well, next I’d like to see something gentler for the smaller wrists – a skin diver maybe

  • Ramon Costa

Yeah! Really good-looking piece! Why the crown is on left? Thanks!

  • Alexander Kühn

    Really nice looking watches!

  • Leon

A great tool watch if not a bit oversized and the crown at the wrong place perhaps (?), for being unobstructive to the wrist while working underwater etc..!
    Otherwise really great looking watch!!

  • Peter Duggan

    Far too large for me.

  • Craig A Clark

Not a bad looking watch, I’d like it more as a GMT but still as is I’d wear one.

  • TresGut

Seriously chunky. Will definitely do me for bathtimes. I would love to see a chrono version.

  • Jason Sheppard

I would like day and date complications

  • Peter Benkmann

Great functionality and legibility. I keep craving for watches in blue tones.

  • Logan Mason

A nice bit of kit for the price!

  • ijg projects

Interesting Design Looks Like one of the Early Omega Watches with the large Vertical Bezel Locks.. But I do Like them!

  • Bryan K

I would like to see a smaller size.

  • nellis51

A bit large in size, although, it’s a nice looking watch.

  • M. Rogers

I will intimidate everyone in the shallow end with this beast. Can’t wait.

  • Jordan Rausch

Love the statement this one makes but my tiny wrist just wouldn’t be able to handle it. Would love to see a slightly scaled down version, even 45mm would still be an eye catcher.

  • Sam Hull

I like the 50mm size. Would be fantastic if tritium illumination could be a future option.

  • Al Herrera

A little smaller and GMT would be nice.

  • Maciejjj

A beautiful watch, thought-out construction, despite its large size, is not coarse.

  • Classic look, would be great for a day on the lake. I would wear a watch if I had on as nice as this.

  • Mr_FDL

    A pilot’s watch!

  • OpenSixx

    orange bezels are awesome

  • Eric Thompson

Nice looking pair. I would love to see an interchangeable rubber strap.

  • Very nice pair of watches. I love specially the big one.

  • Jason Yee

I’d love to see a smaller version of this same design – I like the homage to the ploprof, but would be great to have an option for smaller wrists!

  • Daniel Harper

This is super interesting I’d never heard of this brand before, I’m not sure what their other offerings are, but with this look I bet they’d be able to pull of a pretty solid 3-6-9 explorer style with a smooth bezel but still keep it on the larger side like that to keep it unique.

  • Kris A.

These are beautiful Dive watches, and I’d like to see an aviator-style chronograph next.

  • ????????

Looks really cool. Maybe a GMT version of this in the future?

  • betty23

Very cool proplof style watch. I’d like to see an adjustable glidelock style bracelet.

  • mtnsicl

I think It’s time that I won a another watch from ABTW giveaway. I would like to see a smaller watch, like these, with a white dial. And for these two watches in the giveaway, I’ll need matching chains, so I can wear them around my neck!

  • Gary Aerne

I like all dive watches. These would look great on my wrist!!

  • D Park

    A smaller sized watch

  • For shameless PloProf knockoffs, they’re not a bad-looking watches for the money.

  • Trevor Hirst

I always love to see a pilot’s watch in a reasonable 39mm size, big drown, selitta movement. Maybe also a GMT variant for differentiation in the marketplace.

  • Humph L

Good looking watch. For the future, I think a simple pilot’s with big, easy to read numbers (not necessarily a big face). Something I can also safely glance at when riding a motorcycle.

  • kw

    Maybe a full lume face.

  • rtvtr

Great colour combos. 50mm is a lot of metal though.

  • drhrva

A smaller sized version would be great.

  • SirJulian

never had such a bold statement watch, but looking forward to try it!

  • Bob Sebastian

I love the look of this watch with the 9:00 crown and the 2:00 helium release valve adding some flair and just a bit of Seiko Giugiaro Ripley feel.
Perhaps a smaller, 42-44mm size could be a popular addition. I would love to see more colors, yellow, blue and maybe a luminous dial.

  • Mark B

    Not in. Don’t want either.

  • Daryl Okayama

I’d like to see a chronograph in the same case size. It doesn’t have to have the same water resistance but other colors would be nice, i.e. blue or green. Thanks again for a cool giveaway!

  • Gord Hay

    Square faces and more chronographs!

  • vasilis mavroidis

    it looks interesting

  • Chris

    Well this is exciting!

  • Michael Bell

I’d like to see an alarm.

  • Ayreonaut

A white dial Hydra would be a great addition.

  • Robbie Birnie

Dig the aesthetic, but in the future it would be cool to see more reasonably sized dive watches. I’m willing to sacrifice some diving functionality, as I’m just a desk diver.

This brand is new to me and will have to check them out moving forward!

  • Zak Miljanic

Expand the line to a smaller sizes appropriate to majority of watch aficionados

  • Jack Sexton

Would like to see smaller sizes at or under 42mm.

  • drThrillman

Simple things would be best – shark mesh bracelets, extra straps, rubber straps, maybe vintage inspirired since they are going for the ploprof look

  • Tristan

Something even bigger. 50x19mm is nowhere near ambitious enough.

  • dr.alexandris

Would be nice to have sth for smaller wrists eg. 40 mm, but, honestly, this one looks gorgeous too !

  • Adrian

I’d like to see some smaller sizes.

  • Robin Bullock

Would like a slightly smaller size, with easy to swap out rubberized wristbands.

  • Cristina Lim

Delta must release a watch that will not cover my wrist, something smaller suited for female fans.

  • gchahinian

I dig these things, i like them but i’d like to see SLIGHTLY smaller cases/bezels, but i know it’d be tough to do without sacrificing too much of the structural rigidity and water resistance. Super nice though!!

  • Monty Klatt

I would like to see a bronze model, 40mm case with raised Arabic numerals with a nice blue lume.

  • Yew Weng Leong

I would love to see the option on a rubber strap

  • Ploprof (much) inspired, but I like it

  • Craig T.

Those are cool looking watches! It would be great to see other dial colors on a Delta dive watch. An option for a rubber watch band would also be nice.

  • Steve Hanson

Would just like to have more features and bling on it love variety with lots of various functions.

  • Heryanto Ng

I would like to see a non destro version of the model.

  • Donna M

I would love to see smaller watch faces and bands as I have a small wrist. Thanks!

  • William

A high quality rubber strap would be great. Dial color variations would be fun too.

  • Brian Dubbin

More colors for the face of the watches and
less metal straps. Something more dressed up so you can wear to work.

  • Would like to see an automatic GMT. These two are very nice!

  • Foxxbats

This watch is awatchtoblog on the ablogtowatch

  • Michael Patterson

I would like to see a matte charcoal face and bezel with gloss black numbers and hands.

  • Jben96

I’d like to see this watch with a sellita sw200 movement

  • SBUBandit

I’d love to see the same thing in more options. Colors, materials, bands, etc. I love the exotic dial materials like carbon fiber, brushed metal, etc..

  • Eric Gordon

I like the “extreme” nature of the design and construction. I think they should continue that theme and keep the extreme performance, but make a diver in 42mm, with perhaps an extreme bezel lock (like the Citizen 1000M diver), include a high end rubber strap with wet suit extension (Isofrane, or something like that), and perhaps a more accurate movement.

  • 50mm is a bit larger that what I typically wear, but am excited to give it a try. Heard about this beautiful piece on JAW. Maybe take the watch down to around 45mm?

  • Colby James

I would love to see this on a shark mesh bracelet. Just feel like the super deep divers belong on one.

  • Joshua

With all the focus on retro dive watches from most major brands, I’d like to see Delta’s take on a skin diver concept. The Hydra is too large for a daily wearer, so would like to see their take on a smaller, slimmer concept.

  • Imarod

How about a super-compressor style watch, like the dan henry 1970 with bold color choices like the zodiac seawolf 53 (at the same price range and choice of sizes).

It would reach a larger audience with the sellita sw200. We’d all welcome a jump in the price tag if we can get a big jump in movement quality and have it serviceable.

I’d love to see a design based on the original Rolex Milgauss ( reference 6541). Black bezel with 1-5, no crown guards, and classic black dial with iconic insets. We’ve got enough submariner and fifty fathom inspired watches, that Milgauss design hasn’t been seen in 60 years.

Stay in 39-42mm case, 50mm or under lug to lug, with a similar fun styling and you’d have a winner. These Giveaway watches are great fun for the weekend – I’d like to see something wearable for the weekday.

  • Aaron Thompson

I’ve loved the Ploprof since the first time I laid eyes on it. I’m pretty sure it was right here, when the site was still aBlogToRead. The oversize audacity of that watch is what makes it unique.

These watches from Delta are amazingly faithful homages to the Omega, but I think it would be really nice if Delta could offer the Hydra in a future model between 42 and 45 mm, even if it meant dropping the water resistance. A vast majority of us aren’t ever going to go to 200 meters, let alone 2000! 🙂 I like the fact that they’re using the Seiko NH35A in these, too. It’s a bulletproof, accurate movement.

  • ZagZag

    42mm model with rubber strap

  • Grenouilleman

Big and bold. My wife and i can show off our big and bold together. We like ’em.

  • Jose Felipe Garcia Vivanco

I love big and determinant watch, a 42 to 45 mm model should look impressive with some luminor and some colorfull finishing

  • fbotond

Despite being a lefty, I’ve never had a watch with a crown at 9 o’clock. I’d like to see this watch in a smaller case.

  • Nick

Slightly smaller “adventure” watch from that company would be nice as well, 50mm for a dive watch is brilliant, but something around 42-45mm for wider scale of activities would fit nicely.

  • Krzysztof Jelski

A smaller version, perhaps 42mm, would be great to see.

  • André

Please pick me to win these. I need them for my collection.

  • mauro tovoli

    50mm ; not wearable

  • Brandon

Two is better than one. Sign me up!

  • R-E-L

At 50mm and 19mm thick, I’ll strap these on my ankles to weigh me down.

  • lajoes

For an dive watch at those depths, the size makes sense. But to those of us that cannot treat water in the shower, it is way too big.

  • Emerswag

Tbh I would like to see something smaller. Something automatic, no divers. 44mm I think is the sweet spot.

  • Tommy Surette

I would like to see a vintage throwback without any fake patina, maybe an enamel dial that will patina Beautifully over time.

  • Chris Martin

    Something even bigger!

  • Peter Weady

    More color options.

  • Brener

A diver-style rubber band would fit it very well!

  • Mike F

Delta has done the sea with the Hydra, how about conquer the land with a GMT adventure watch.

  • alexe christian

    Something smaller

  • Andres

I would like to see them make this same model of diver watch but skeletonized, it is something really out of the ordinary.

  • SPITX206

I would like to see a dive capable watch with a date and GMT complication next from the brand.

  • senrayan

    it is a fabulous giveaway

  • gtbr

I’d like to see an aviator next

  • Spumoni

I’d love to see a bright green bezel.

  • Jovan Rajkovic

It would be cool to see them be the first watch company to equip their dive watches with the an optional bezel inserts made of and hard to scratch Titanium. That would definitely help them build a name on market. Good luck to the brand!

  • Nathan Pollard

I always want to see a high quality field watch for a reasonable price!

  • Kay Bittmann

Great watches. I am pleasantly surprised at the price.

  • Zach Brown

Thanks for another great giveaway! I would like to see Delta do either a large tuna can style diver.

  • The Boss

I would like to see something smaller. Something automatic, 40 to 44 mm.

  • Hrvoje Holett Hadzic

I would go for skeleton watch.

  • Sigmund Globes

An affordable automatic watch with altimeter.

  • Paul Teets

    Classic pilot’s watch with chronograph.

  • Ian

I agree with a lot of people that 50mm is pretty darn massive, especially for daily wear; I just bought a 42mm Seiko 5 and it’s about the perfect size for my wrist (and about the biggest I’d want on there). But then, I can see how divers would need things to be big for visibility and if they needed to manipulate the watch with gloves on. So I guess my vote would be for a timeless (i.e., not remotely clumsy- or outdated-looking) vintage design without any fake patina or anything like that, so that one could wear it in oneself, making it unique in the process.

Thanks! Very cool opportunity you’re offering here. 🙂

  • Simon

After a divers watch perhaps a good GMT?

  • How about a bronze case edition?

  • Kalotai Bálint

Batman GMT would be quite decent for me

  • Joe Pew

A relatively simple GMT travel watch would be a great addition.

  • Nick

A smaller diver without the helium valve would be good – a bit more of a daily wearer. Alternatively, something along the lines of the Oris special editions that give back to the environment would be a nice touch.

  • Dickson Chen

wonderful watch that would be a pleasant wear on hand! design different from the main stream and outstanding look.

  • I’d like to see a fifty fathoms homage!

  • spectre6000

I’d like to see the complications that are most doable by the microbrands, and least done in the market as a whole: case complications! I.e. rotating inner bezels. Maximize the utility of simple, inexpensive, and easily serviced movements.

  • David N Atkinson

I dare say this is heresy but, in terms of looks at least, I like the Delta Hydra more than the Ploprof, which I find ungainly and lopsided. Of course at 50×19+mm the Hydra’s still a chunky boi and lots of commenters are suggesting a smaller one but I say own the bigness. My suggestion is just to do a version in blue, like the waters of the Aegean, home of the island from which the Hydra takes its name.

  • Eiji Wolf

I would very much enjoy seeing a spelunking watch – with extra impact protection.

  • Charlton Evans

I echo the bronze case alternative and would very much like to see tritium utilized for illumination

  • Song Yik Sing

    A giant piece! Love it!

  • Monica Acosta-Zamora

I’d like to see a more feminine profile on the band. Its fabulous for snorkeling, surely.

  • Andrei Mihaila

A 38mm diver wouldn’t be bad at all. Just sayin’

  • Larry Holmack

Great looking watch! My normal, daily wearer’s are between 48-52mm’s…and adding a new battery and to my collection would be nice. I wouldn’t mind seeing a nice deep blue or emerald green dial.

  • Arno Sandoval

Love the look of this watch!!

  • vasilis mavroidis

very interesting option for diver’s watch

  • Dana J. Votour

    Nice watch.

  • Mark

Ok looking at the watch a homage watch to the iconic omega seamaster 166.0077 nice to see a nice watch bring back the 70s look

  • Alexander Keck

Would love to take it out diving. I would love to see the implementation of a mechanical depth gauge.

  • J_ Adams

Ploprof style without the price. These certainly will look pro enough desk-diving on my wrist!

  • Mark ZuVerink

I love the reimagined Omega style. Would love to see more classic dive design inspired pieces. Something like the classic aquadive NOS cased watches maybe.

  • J. H. Bappi

    Just like a dream?

  • Pro-f-sor

    Bronze edition!

  • arthur gusowski

i would like to see them put the rotating bezel inside the case and adding a second crown to bring down the thickness of the timepiece. A Titanium Version of the Hydra would be interesting as well.

  • Uriar

I’d love to see a solar powered dive watch. Thanks for the chance!

  • BLove

A bronze version of this same model would be gorgeous!!

  • Chrysanthos Symeonidis

More contemporary color options would be nice (e.g. green).

  • Claus Hoerandner

Saw a prototype of this watch at an event in Chicago. Great guy who is bringing these out and a fantastic watch!

  • Great watches and fantastic giveaway!

  • eric chan

Love to see another dive watch in other materials, e.g. bronze or titanium.

  • Carl Chothia

    something in 55mm perhaps?really toolish..

  • Trevor Maloney

Very cool! I’d like to see a minimalist bronze diver. 🙂

  • Thurston Howell III

    Sweet!

  • dr.alexandris

Great brand and great looking giveaway watch, thank you for including me in that. I would like to see sth smaller eg 42-44mm, with also a date complication. thank you

  • Kirk Macdonald

My father was a SCUBA diver in the 60’s and I got into it in the 70’s. I didn’t have a decent dive watch at the time but this would have been perfect.
I think the next step would be a rock solid GMT/UTC diver in a reasonable size. When diving in some exotic location, it’s nice to know what time it is back home. (Note: I have never been in this situation. I dive in the cold, dark, heartless waters of Puget Sound. Lovely place!)

  • Jeffrey Song

Honestly all I need is a version without that button, I appreciate that they cater to the professional diving market, but that button makes it very unwearable and bulky

  • Daron Reynolds

Pretty sharp wrist art. Look better over here.

  • Paul Napolitano

Cool watches! Even cooler that they are up for grabs!

  • Mark Ormerod

Nice looking watches. Wonder if they do a day date?

  • Paul Morris Carfoot

OMG ! Poor man’s PloProf, anyone.

  • chris

It’s a classic. Love to see a bronze version with a rubber strp

  • A field watch or fliieger with the same rugged design aesthetic would be nice. Winning would be nice as well!

  • Bryce

More color options would be nice – red, green?

  • Zachary Heins

Lovely diver! Would love to see a field/pilot/flieger style watch!

  • Eugene Najera

I would like to see less retro, 42 mm, and lots of lume on the dial

  • Miguel Almeida

Great looking watch! A smaller version (42/44mm) and a blue dial (orange bezel) would be my suggestion.

  • Ken Wang

I’d want to see a 42-44mm version and I think applied lume would make it look sportier than the painted lume used currently.

  • Jiri S.

I would like to see something dressy – 40 mm, thinnest possible, maybe even copper dial – but still tough enough for hobby diver – 200m WR minimum, great legibility..

  • vance rogers

I love the watch. I’d like to see a smaller version. Glad you are keeping automatic movement.

  • Mike

Maybe something in the chronograph category or a GMT.

  • Vonralpho

Wow! 50mm. Big watch. The size of the second one is not mentioned, but I would assume maybe 40ish? In the future, something like the Umi by Delta with a GMT hand would be nice. I would like to see that. Maybe in a 42mm case or thereabouts.

  • markahaviland

Exceptional watch, and I like enormous bands. Would delight in adding this to my collection.

  • Wim Thomas

Love the watch 🙂 Very good looking and shape for rather professional use (bulky) nevertheless looks awesome! I would like to see a smaller 200- 300m dive watch in same style, look and feel.

  • Wow! Really digging the build of this, never could afford a ploprof…. Not every brand can make orange accents pop like this, would love to see a compressor style with similar design principles ?

  • Doctor Ben

I think the orange one would look great with a blue face

  • Mark Great

I would like to see a field watch with an original design.

  • G Lauer

adding tritium would be a nice upgrade.

  • JeffH

I like the chunky style – looks tough – but maybe something more like 40–42mm. GMT is always cool.

  • Sixx Cult

I would love to see crazy colors on bezel, two tone, or vtg look colors

  • youarenotsanta

hehe 2000m interesting, gl hope I win.

  • Luciano

    A pilot.

  • Ian

I’d like to see both smaller sizes and the option of a vulcanized rubber band.

  • Don G.

    Nice chunky watch

  • Perry Shears

Cool and great looking Tool divers…. here’s hoping

  • Phlip74

Im not too familiar with this brand, these two watches look amazing and i would love to see them release these with a day/Date complication and maybe an Alarm complication as well! I would love to win these two watches and thank you for the opportunity to try and own these. As always I love you page and keep up the good work!

  • Mike B

Nice watch! Would love to see a GMT diver.

  • Ernest Tracy

    Would be a wonderful addition

  • Mark Ormerod

Very nice, particularly like the dark model. Wonder if well get a day date version?

  • Harplayr

Love the design. I’d like to see a pilot watch with tritium markers next.

  • Ahmad Ridzuan Mohamad

I would like to see next from Delta is a pilot style watch

  • John Chapdelaine

Great looking tool watches! Not having the biggest wrists, I would like to see a 44 mm or smaller case with at least 1000 m WR. Day/date and titanium offerings would be awesome, too.

  • Douglas Weedman

Beautiful watch! Love the size when diving. Maybe Delta could do another diver with a cushion case and GMT hand.

  • Tony middleton

I’d like to see a pilots chronograph

  • Chris C

I’d love to see a diver inspired chronograph from them. The color combinations combined with this extra functionality would be a sure buy from me.

  • AF

Would be great to have a diver in smaller size

  • SteveA95

I would like to see a compressor style diver with a day date feature. In a cushion case.

  • This is an attractive watch. I would add a second time zone inner hand. GMT by default but nice to be able to adjust.

  • Johan

Great dive watch I would like to see a titanium version to reduce the weight

  • PNunya

I would also like to see these with GMT movements.

  • Peter N

I would like to see a titanium GMT version.

  • alex

I would love to see a smaller diver’s watch
sure size help when diving but they get too cumbersome sometimes

  • Alberto Moldon

I find submariners really elegant even though they are such adventorous pieces!! And of top of that I love orange color!

  • cyklopz

    Last in FTW. Nice dive!

  • Dániel Farkas

I would like to se a casual dive watch, like 200m of water resistance and smaller size.

  • Matthew Jackson

More watches with sword hands for sure. Great looking watches.

  • John J

I’d like to see a shark mesh band for these watches

  • mike benda

That is galant style. Would like to see you make a bold design with tank/deco features while keeping a round face.

  • penemio

I would love to see a limited edition ceramic version in white or black

  • ivel1977

A diamond or even Svorski crystal studded version of the dial and band would be spectacular!

  • Julius Seizure

I’d love to see a diver with a chronograph feature, all rounder tool watch.

  • Sárándi Attila

A smaller case size (around 43mm) and a gmt function would be a good innovation

  • Lincolnshire Poacher

I do like this brand. I like colourful bezels, so new dial and bezel colour combinations would be great to see.

  • Scott A. Ekleberry

I like the design, crown at 9 would take some getting used to. Movement accuracy does not seem spectacular however. I would like to see a movement option where one could choose a superior rate movement. Being a watchmaker, I always look for accuracy above all else.

  • Jason Sheppard

    A reverse bezel
