The watch is housed in a 316L steel case that measures 40.5mm wide and 11.4mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm. Beneath the anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal, the dial is slightly granulated with an elevated dial ring featuring railroad style markers. The brushed hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, while the white seconds hand has a German blue tip. You’ll also notice the military time indices in smaller font within the 12-hour numerals. Turning the watch over reveals the engraved caseback with the Seals Watch Co. logo.
Inside the Seals Model C Field Explorer is an STP 1-11 movement that has hacking seconds, operates at 28,800 vph, and has a power reserve of 44 hours. Seals also works with a partner to ensure the movements live up to COSC standards, which is an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day.
