Over the past five years, WatchTime magazine has built its WatchTime New York show into America’s premier luxury watch fair. During the most recent show in October 2018, WatchTime New York brought together 1,400 collectors and more than 30 brands. As a sign of its commitment to bringing the best of luxury watchmaking to American end consumers, WatchTime will be taking over the Hudson Loft space (1200 South Hope St.) in downtown Los Angeles to host the inaugural WatchTime LA showcase on May 3–4, 2019.

Featuring more than 25 brands, the two-day event begins with a VIP soirée on Friday, May 3, followed by a full day of exciting panels, seminars, and events on Saturday, May 4. On Friday, doors open at 5:30 for the cocktail party with a full open bar and hors d’oeuvres served. This will be the first opportunity for collectors to meet with brand executives, watchmakers such as Kari Voutilainen and Romain Gauthier, and WatchTime editors. Free valet parking is provided on Friday night.

On Saturday, WatchTime LA welcomes guests at 11 am for a full day of browsing and discovery. A series of panels and seminars will run through the course of the day, including a panel discussion with leading independent watchmakers, a panel co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter on watches in the movies, and a presentation on the history of the chronograph by collector and watch expert Jeff Kingston. Some light bites and drinks will be served, along with food available for purchase.
