I love this line of Pilot watches. Very cool. I prefer shopping online. The selection is infinite and accessible instantly, and the prices are much better than @ retail.

I prefer to buy watches online because I sell them online and that way I support my online habit and the online habit of others.

i would prefer to purchase in-store; however that is often difficult when i search for lesser known brands (such as praesto and magrette). i do a lot of research online, so i have adapted to making purchases as well.

I prefer to buy on line from reputable dealers, more selection and better prices.

I prefer trying watches in store and then buying them online. Best of both worlds.

I prefer to buy watches in stores because I can feel the watch before I buy it as the best picture doesn't do justice until I test it on my wrist. It also allowed me to form a relationship between the authorized dealer(AD) and myself (which maybe end up as my best buddy in future) which cant be done if I buy it online. For me even the price of buying in stores is usually more expensive than buying online, I find it worth to buy in store considering the "Testing" factor and forming relationship between the AD.

I do prefer to buy from a store, you can try on and see what it actually looks like on, buying on line would be only if I had seen it and tried it out first in the store and only if I couldn’t buy it from the store first off.

Usually prefer to shop online, which usually has a couple of advantages. Firstly, I live in an area where it is hard to find a good selection of products. Online shopping provides the opportunity to see all the various models, plus you can often find a bargain price, providing the online outlet is a legitimate outlet for the line in question and can provide the proper warranty for the watch, not ot mention the convenience of having the watch delivered to your door.

I prefer to buy my watches in store so that I can feel how the watch sits, it's weight, and how it looks on my wrist before purchasing

I prefer to buy watches online, however due to my location i do enjoy searching the web through many mid to high level stores. It is easy to compare watch to watch and price to price, the main difficulty being, the feel of the watch and the actual look. So basically either one is good, but each have their own pros and cons.

I would much rather prefer to buy a watch in a store. For me the experience of picking out a watch that I really like and buying it is as much, if not more exciting, than actually wearing it. And of course if always helps if I can physically inspect a product before I purchase it.

I prefer to buy watches in stores because of the ability to try it on and fondle the watch a bit. However, most watches I want are not available in stores and are much more inexpensive online.

I prefer to purchase my watches in person. It gives me an oppurtunity for a hands on experience with the watch after I have done some online research.

Online - go in the store to look feel, choose, buy online for the price. Sorry, that's the way I feel. Now if I ever get to the point where I can afford a rolex - then maybe I'll feel different.

I use a combination of shopping.. I research and compare online, but always buy from brick and mortar stores (with a discount). For a few hundred dollars more, I get a comfort level from an AD that just isn't in the grey market for me.

The best strategy is to buy watches online after checking them out in the store! It is the best of both worlds, you get to try the watch on and mingle with it, and then you can go online and find the best price.

Two reasons I like to buy on line..
1st... Once ordered, it's like waiting on a present. Check the mail everyday...oh, the excitment.
2nd... I am selfish.. I don't want everybody having the same watch and buying through your site makes it more relevant for me. Nice to know that when someone sees the watch on my wrist, I have the option of telling them where I got it or not.

Always online. I prefer lower prices to the services offered by brick and mortar stores.

I prefer online because of the greater selection and typically cheaper price. The thing is I'm always scared of fakes. Also you rarely get the manufacturer's warranty. Usually I'll go to a store and try on one before I try to buy it online.

Definitely online - as things goes - I can shop across many websites, trying to get the right price. Not that I dislike traditional stores, but the markup seems to be excessive for what I get, service wise.

I am torn. there are many benefits to both, but I would have to say I enjoy purchasing online more as of late. Seems like the watch world is developing nicely online with great reviews and low prices. Unfortunetely we do not have many decent watch boutiques in our small town.

I prefer to buy them in stores, but often I buy them online due to better pricing. However, in buying them in stores I am more certain that fraudulent activity is extinguished. It can be very difficult to trust an internet site when making such a significant purchase. The more professional the site looks, the more confident I am in the purchase. Shallow, but true. I know that the company is trying to brand itself in such a way that shows validity of trade and consumer trust. Thanks, and good luck to Praesto and Ablogtoread in the future!

I love browsing watches online, but seening them live is important to make sure how a watch really looks and feel. Most pictures are digitally enhanced so have to be sure about it.

In one night, you can look at and research tons of watches online from various brands. It's a little more work to do that going from store to store.

I think that retail has changed for good, online shopping is more poular than ever, we will always need shops but I do believe that online shopping is here to stay. I personally would prefer to peruse online, see a model I like and then go to a shop to have a better look at the piece. If prestige watch manufacturers sold on line I would definately buy on line.

Much like expensive clothes, it's still a balancing act (for me) when buying a new watch. I have small wrists so it helps to see a watch physically draped on my arm. Knowing the face-width can only do so much. That said, the internet provides a previously-owned selection that's simply untouchable in-store. And the ease with which you can shop from the comfort of your own home (all while never having to worry about whether a brand is carried in your town) is intangible but very important. Great giveaway. :)

Love the watch. I think purchasing online it preferable. Increased choice and with all the reviews of watches online it makes it easy to still be an informed consumer.

I live in a small city and quality/interesting watches are just not available here. I would love to have a store to shop in, to be able to talk about watches with people who are knowledgeable but there is no such place near where I live so I get everything online.

I've been getting into the whole Flieger/Pilot watch look lately because they the design is basically timeless (no pun intended). The dials are clean and very easy to read - a big plus in low light situations. I'm really digging the Praesto spin on this type of watch. It almost has a flight dashboard look to it which gives it a clean, clinical look. Nice design!

I have come across a few specialist stores and being able to bond with another watch lover on the other side of the counter is something you don't get buying online. (also you get to have the watch instantly!)

I think that I have only purchased watches online. I guess I would prefer from a retail store, but the selection and price always bring me back to online.
