Giveaway: Bathys Benthic Ti Watch watch giveaways

OK, I have to admit I am jealous - I want one of these. One of you will get to win this fantastic Hawaii-based Bathys Benthic Ti watch this month. It might be cold outside, but you can dream about an island paradise. 48mm wide and in titanium, this large men's watch isn't going to be too heavy, and features Bathys' iconic sport suave styling that says, "I know how to look good when relaxing or having fun." A dive watch at heart, the Benthic Ti has a domed sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 200 meters. Of course it has a rotating diver's bezel and SuperLumiNova covered hands and hour indicators. Inside the watch is a Swiss Ronda quartz movement with a retrograde day of the week indicator along with a big-date indicator.

The dial is super easy to read, but has a laid-back calmness to it that is in line with the timepiece's Hawaiian origins. The Bathys Benthic Ti comes on a black (waterproof) leather strap with red contrast stitching and also includes a rubber diving strap. Like all high-quality Bathys watches, the Benthic Ti comes in a waterproof Pelican case.

Bathy's,  definetly a sporty active mans wrist watch-I am very active outdoors especially skiing, the design fits well here and BATHY'S a somewhat whimisical name, youthful aire and would consider. My only negative remark would be the Day and I like the Date. The Dial and markers-fantastic and all my Sport-Dive watches are from the original stainless re-fitted with Leather Wrist Bands and various colored Shark for water. The watch should be well received-a unique individual buyer. The 1st watch that I truly noticed and left an impression was the Rolex DD President and my 1st luxury watch purchase was in 1975 a Rolex Steel and Gold from Beyer in Zurich, Switzerland.

My first watch would have been a Rolex Submariner. Almost bought one and now prices continue to rise.

No doubt about it - this has to be the watch to wear this winter in the cold and very, very wet Pacific Northwest. At least the watch will keep running even if the wearer drowns while clinging to the top of a telephone pole.

My first was a no-style Seiko that did nothing but tell time, and date.
Followed that with a sporty looking Pulsar (black with four silver screws on the front of the case)

I think the first watch I ever wanted was a Hamilton not sure of the model.

Now that I am finally old enough to appreciate watches, the one I want, the one I wish I would get, is the Omega Seamaster in orange with the leather strap. But since I am older, have other expensive toys, and have responsibilities, it is going to have to remain a wish for me...

The first watch I wanted was an old Hamilton. But the first "real" watch I actually got was a Zodiac and then, finally, an Omega Seamaster. I have since looked for that original Hamilton dream watch but have never found it...and I do not remember the model name.

A Rolex Submariner is the first watch I ever wanted. My tastes have changed since then, but I still don't think you can go wrong with a classic like the Submariner.

A friend in high school had a Tag Heuer with a blue face and wonderful smooth bracelet when everyone else was still wearing digital watches.

The first watch I wished for once I started appreciating watches was an Omega Seamaster Pro. Since then, I've discovered all these great smaller brands, like Bathy's, but I would still love to eventually get a SMP - maybe one day soon.
Thanks!

My great-uncle Maurice had a beautiful Rolex in the late 1950's that was the thinnest most elegant watch I had ever seen. It also had a leather band and he would let me wear it whenever he came to visit. Oh how I loved that watch....I have no idea what ever happened to it but that was the watch that started me on the path to loving them.

I first TRULY appreciated watches really recently, and the first one I really wanted was the Prometheus Ocean Diver. This one would be an amazing addition to my yet-to-be-started collection!

I always had these thing for watches (and for destroying them when I opened them up), had multiple Casios and Swatches but since Grammar School (6 yo) I wanted a Citizen Wingman because a kid in my class had one and it looked amazing. Years latter, on 8th grade, another classmate had one of those and the fascination kept going. Finally, at the age of 18, I worked through summer before going to college and saved enough money to get me one of those (NOS)! That was my first real watch and is still ticking, having a special place in my collection along ide my fathers and gradfathers watches.

My first real watch was a Citizen automatic dresswatch that I wore a long time. when I was 16 I met a girl on a plain who had several Swatches. My watch didn't impress her. During that holiday we hooked up and I had to have a Swatch. That moment might have sparked the addiction for watches.

My first watch was a 1970's circa Omega Geneve Dynamic which I think is absolutely gorgeous, it has a silver dial with a blue ring insert. I recently bought another two of these, one with blue centre and silver outer ring with Italian day/date indicator and a gold face version.

The first watch that I wished for was a casio g-shock or databank (can't remember which I wanted first at age 10) still think those are retro-geek-cool. Now I wish I had a Suunto Core (because I still like geek-cool), and for the office, a nice watch such as the Bathys Benthic Ti.

Love the Bathys vibe. Sophisticated without being pretentious. When I was a kid, I wanted a Casio with the built-in calculator which was both dorky AND pretentious. Way cool!

The first watch I wish I had gotten (much like many) would be the Rolex Sub. I stared and researched for weeks, maybe months. Seeing that watch on a Bond NATO made me fall in love! In the end I settled for an Invicta 9937. I have since sold that watch, one because my tastes have moved into larger watches and..... well because my tastes have moved ;-)

This is the first Bathy's that i can really get into personally. I DIG IT!

Thanks,

Everybody wanted a casio watch. I wanted a bulova, and bought one at the tender age of 17. But really I wished I could have afforded benthic when I was old enough to appreciate a good watch. That would have been awesome!

My watch dreams have always been about combining precision and elegance, minimalism and beauty. So an Hawaïan watch with all the wave romances attached to it built in Titanium could be a dream that comes true! Aloha from Copenhagen, Denmark

The first watch that I wanted was my dad's digital Seiko. He got it in the 70's and I thought it was very cool. I had forgotten about the watch until a couple of weeks ago. My dad passed away in October. I was going through his things and found the Seiko, with a busted crystal, the bracelet hanging off and not running. I popped in a new battery and it fired right up. Since then, I found a new crystal, which I installed and also restored the case and bracelet. It is now one of my prized possessions.

First watch I really wanted was a gold Seiko Pilots watch. Got it and that began my obsession with watches. I like unusual watches or those that have a story to them like the Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch. I have recently begun to collect Accutron Astronaut watches, lots of fun.
