When I was growing up as a kid, I lived in the projects in Miami (now called low income housing). The only watch the older kids had were inexpensive (cheap) Timex watches. I thought for a long time (until I went to the military) that this was the only watch a man would wear. I still wear a Timex and would like to win the Bathys Benthic Ti watch to upgrade my image (my wife believes this might be impossible).
