Apple Watch Nike+ Sport Bands ‘Day To Night’ Colors

Apple Watch Nike+ Sport Bands 'Day To Night' Colors Watch Releases

Apple and Nike go way back, and their relationship makes sense since it seems that Apple is focusing on the health and fitness capabilities of its Apple Watch. Runners and running in particular have been given special attention via the partnership. Just last month, they announced a new limited-edition Apple Watch called the Apple Watch NikeLab. And now, on its heels, so to speak, come four new Nike Sports Bands for the Apple Watch Nike+.

First things first, although Nike says that these four new Sports Bands are for the Apple Watch Nike+, there’s absolutely nothing stopping you from using them on any other Apple Watch. These four bands will use Apple’s very clever quick strap-change system and will fit on any Apple Watch, even the first-generation ones.

Like other Apple Sports Bands, these four new Sports Bands are made out of super flexible and soft fluoroelastomer. It feels good on the skin, and the straps are perforated to reduce weight and to improve ventilation. The colors of these four straps follow that of Nike’s own Air VaporMax Flyknit “Day to Night” sneakers, which are in turn inspired by the shades of the sky at different times of day. There are two shades of blue and two shades of violet for Apple Watch owners to choose from.

The new Nike Sports Bands will go on sale on June 1st, 2017, and will be priced at $49 each. If you want a matching sneaker to go along with it, the Air VaporMax Flyknit “Day to Night” sneakers will also go on sale on June 1st and are priced at $190. nike.com | apple.com

The A week on the Foot, review is not done yet.

I imagine the waiting list for the shoes will give the Rolex Daytona a run for it’s money.

Having read this call to action I immediately knew that my urban wardrobe needed a total critical update. So I called up Nike and immediately ordered everything photo’d here. Having four Apple watches is wicked cool, and can just about fit them all on at once, but being the proud owner of four left shoes makes my strolls around Hoxton somewhat uncool and uncomfortable. I am going through right socks at a considerable pace.

ABTW: could you review the right shoe in each of the colours asap? I want to know whether they are worth purchasing and I need to know soonest. No need for any more watches or straps – I have all I need (but anything you’ve got to add to the great fixie debate will be gratefully devoured, like the first double-e of the day).

Thanks, but the colours are reversed compared to the left hand shoes so I’d have four pairs with different colours in them. Is this problem something Nike are working on, or am I behind the curve of cool?

Matching colors will come later as a Limited Edition

“their relationship makes sense since it seems that Apple is focusing on the health and fitness”

    — let me clarify…

Apple CEO Tim Cook is a BoD member at Nike, period.

Rubber. They’re made out of synthetic rubber. Like the sneakers. All handcrafted by 12 year old Vietnamese children who earn 11 cents a day. Why is this garbage on a luxury watch website? I bought some new shoelaces for my boots last week; want me to bang out a 500 word review?

Are they shoes for emergency response workers that need to run?

I understand that some people wear ‘sports clothing’ while not playing sport. But with the fluorescent colours I assume they must be for the high visibility required by emergency workers.
