Omega wants us to remember that the James Bond films are 50 years old in 2012. Rolex is the historic watch on 007’s wrist, and when it comes down to it, every man wants a watch with an included laser cutter and grappling hook. As a bit of an homage to the classic “James Bond” Rolex from 1954, Christopher Ward has released a version of their C60 Trident watch (reviewed here) with a specially colored bezel on a NATO strap.
This version of the hot-selling C60 Trident Automatic has an olive green colored bezel insert and comes with a striped NATO-style strap. The steel watch is 42mm wide and pretty thin at 13mm. Over the dial is a sapphire crystal and inside the watch is a Swiss ETA 2824 (or equivalent Sellita) automatic movement.
There are many versions of the C60 Trident watch and this is just one of them. Each is pretty nice and I like that Christopher Ward takes a good thing and offers enough versions to suit most anyone’s taste. Price for this C60 Trident Automatic Nato version is $480 (and you can get one here).
