Los Angeles and Southern California-area watch enthusiasts are cordially invited to RSVP to an exciting aBlogtoWatch event with Swiss watchmaker Longines. The event will be produced in collaboration with the Longines authorized dealer and popular watch retailer chain Ben Bridge, and will take place aboard the historic RMS Queen Mary ocean liner ship that is permanently docked in Long Beach, California. The famed Queen Mary was originally christened in 1936, serving as a vessel going between England and New York. There is no doubt that many of its original passengers would have been carrying Longines timepieces. Since the late 1960s, the Queen Mary has resided in Southern California and remains an important tribute to a lost age of transatlantic oceangoing journeys.

The Queen Mary will serve as the ideal backdrop in which to celebrate Longines’ long history of innovation in mechanical watch movement creation. At the aBlogtoWatch event, Longines will be bringing a selection of original history watches from its museum in St. Imier, Switzerland. Longines Head of Heritage & Branding, Daniel Huhg, and aBlogtoWatch founder, Ariel Adams, will host a presentation about Longines yesterday and today, including a discussion of how today’s latest Longines watches relate to the brand’s storied past.

Also at the event will be many of Longines’ latest new watches including those from its enthusiast-prized Heritage collection, as well as the latest Longines calibers including the latest GMT automatics. The aBlogtoWatch, Longines, and Ben Bridge event at the Queen Mary will include a seated dinner that will occur after cocktails and the Q&A discussion between aBlogtoWatch and Longines. There will also be a limited giveaway items available to the first guests who arrive. Attendance at the aBlogtoWatch and Longines Queen Mary event is limited, so please RSVP below.
