Organized by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), Horological Society of New York, and RedBar, the 10th Annual Madison Avenue Watch Week promises a packed calendar of watch-centric workshops, discussion panels, special viewings, and other events for collectors, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts. It’s slated to take place from April 30 to May 4, 2024, on Madison Avenue between East 57th and East 75th Street, so if you’re in NYC next week, you’ll have a packed calendar of not-to-be-missed watch events.

Celebrations will kick off with opening-night receptions on Tuesday evening, April 30 from 6 to 8pm at participating Madison Avenue Watch Week retailers, followed by five days of watch-related programming. Following is a list of highlights:

A. Lange & Söhne, 709 Madison Avenue, Wednesday, May 1. Learn about the history of the brand while experiencing the craftsmanship of A. Lange & Söhne timepieces through a live demonstration of one of its in-house movements. A watchmaker from Glashütte, Germany will also be present to answer any questions.

Breitling, 575 Madison Avenue. The brand kicks off its 140th anniversary this year with a display of exclusive, historical timepieces, along with its newest releases and iconic collections.

Buccellati, 714 Madison Avenue, Wednesday, May 1st to Saturday, May 4th, 10am-6pm. Visit to immerse yourself in Buccellati’s extraordinary timepiece history, and enjoy a special presentation of men’s and women’s jeweled and classic watches that will be flown in for the occasion.

Davide Cenci, 1041 Madison Avenue, Thursday, May 2, 5pm-7pm. Enjoy the “Off The Cuff” fashion show, moderated by Michael Macko. Men’s fashion will be paired with a curated collection of vintage watches presented by Element iN Time NYC.

Elements iN Time NYC, 595 Madison Avenue, Wednesday, May 1st to Saturday, May 4th, 11am-5pm. Browse a vast collection of vintage and modern timepieces from assorted Swiss manufactures, including a former UN Diplomat’s private collection of Clocks and Watches.

IWC Schaffhausen, 645 Madison Avenue, various dates and times. Join a private small-group product presentation of IWC’s newest timepieces just unveiled at Watches and Wonders Geneva. An IWC specialist will explain the features of each model and guests will be given hands-on access to the new collection. IWC will also host the panel discussion, “How a Watch Stays Eternally Relevant,” led by Nicolas Lannou, IWC’s Associate Director of Product Strategy & Heritage.

Jaeger-LeCoultre, 701 Madison Avenue, various dates and times. Participate in a series of watchmaking masterclasses led by an expert watchmaker. Participants will actively practice traditional watchmaking skills with the opportunity to bring a timepiece to life by assembling a mechanical movement.

Montblanc, 635 Madison Avenue, Tuesday, April 30th, 6pm-8pm. Celebrate the beginning of Madison Avenue Watch Week, and discover some of Montblanc’s 2024 watch novelties.

Panerai, 711 Madison Avenue, various dates and times. Tour Panerai’s new Madison Avenue boutique, trace its historic timepiece evolution from 1860 to today via its heritage wall and view its newest watches. Iconic watches will be on display, too, including The New York Edition, available exclusively in New York.

Ralph Lauren, 867 Madison Avenue, various dates and times. Browse Ralph Lauren’s specially curated timepiece collection for Madison Avenue Watch Week.

The 1916 Company, 595 Madison Avenue, various dates and times. Discover the pivotal collections and generations of innovations of F.P. Journe at the 1916 Journe Gallery exhibition. Experience the world of De Bethune and the manufacture’s 2024 collections,  unveiled in Geneva during Watches & Wonders. Attend discussion panels and presentations about F.P. Journe and De Bethune, hosted by Jack Forster, George Mayer, and Tim Mosso.

Vacheron Constantin, 28 East 57th Street, various dates and times.  Experience a curated journey through Vacheron Constantin’s digital archives, meet one of its expert watchmakers, and explore its diverse and iconic collection of timepieces.

Wrist Aficionado, 19 E 62nd Street, Tuesday, April 30th, 6pm-8pm. Experience your dream collection of rare timepieces from Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, and Rolex at Wrist Aficionado’s boutique on 62nd and Madison. Speak with one of its concierges for a watch-owning experience that you would gladly recommend to your family and friends. Obtaining the unobtainable has never been so easy.

Aside from these boutique-specific happenings, another event highlight will be the Madison Avenue Watch Week panel, “Past, Present & Future — Watches and Wonders Geneva Decoded,” led by panelists of industry experts. This will be followed by the Madison Avenue Watch Week Walk, a guided tour through Madison Avenue with stops at select watch boutiques to see the Watches and Wonders 2024 releases firsthand.
