Although many watch enthusiasts also engage in other hobbies, most enthusiast spaces tend to be single-focus affairs — watch boutiques and custom motorcycle shops are just a few examples. Nestled away in a quiet corner of Los Angeles’ historic Arts District, the newly opened Bike Shed Moto Co. aims to break that mold in spectacular fashion. On May 21, 2022, guests of aBlogtoWatch and Bremont were treated to Bike Shed Moto Co.’s vision of the future. The smell of burnt rubber and high-octane fuel blended with fine leather, rich cooking, and aged whiskey as guests explored the massive converted warehouse space, which includes amenities ranging from a full-service custom motorcycle shop to a barber shop, a full bar and restaurant, and an apparel store. Of course, the crown jewel of this sprawling new space is a fully equipped Bremont boutique, and brand founders Nick English and Giles English were on hand to showcase the brand’s newest releases to an excited crowd.
The centerpiece of the Bremont presentation was the newly announced Bremont Jaguar C-Type, which became an immediate fan favorite among attendees, but there were strong showings as well for the Bremont Supermarine and MB-1 collections. Both Bremont co-founders and aBlogtoWatch Founder Ariel Adams addressed the crowd on the state of Bremont in the United States, the new Bremont Jaguar C-Type, and the amenities of the new boutique in a deep and informative walkthrough.
Outside of the main presentation, guests were free to explore Bike Shed Moto Co.’s collection of custom-built high-end motorcycles, ranging from classic Honda café racers to futuristic full-carbon custom chassis. The in-house restaurant served up a wide variety of complimentary dishes for patrons to enjoy while event attendees explored the space’s wide assortment of retail options. All in all, the Bremont x aBlogtoWatch showcase event at Bike Shed Moto Co. was a sterling kickoff to a summer of watch events and a brilliant debut for the British brand’s newest boutique space.
